It sounded a lot like the situation on the echidnaâs planet. With Robotnik gone whatever robots he had were disappearing bit by bit as he and the other Freedom Fighters destroyed them. With no one left to build any more Knuckles dared to think that the time would come where there would be none left and he found he couldnât wait for THAT day.Â
In the meantime, he would gladly take on robots in the felineâs world. A little more practice never hurt. âIf we run into some, Iâll just have to take that offer, but I wonât force you to go looking for trouble. Unless you want to, of course. Iâd be lying if I said I didnât want to see what youâre capable of now.â
One thing the echidna did remember was the felineâs strange bag of tricks and he was interested to see them again, to say the least. He did laugh at the gesture to his eyepatch and while he was tempted to prove his point by removing it, he didnât and just waved a hand.Â
âItâs a story better left for another time. Remind me next time we meet and I just might tell you then. You know, as long as a few more years donât pass before then,â he joked, then started following the feline to their next destination. âAlthough I donât think you mentioned who the guy building all of these machines was last time. If heâs anything like our guy back home was, I hope you get rid of him before he causes more trouble for anyone.â
The feline had to wonder what was going on in that world, for things to take a turn and try and overturn it for the better. An overpowering sensation taking over the world, only for a few select super-powered strangers to take it back. ...Now, thatâs only for him, he doesnât know if itâs commonplace for that, he only assumes. He only wishes the best for them.
Hearing the echidnaâs statement, Dymek lifts his head a little in pride, putting on a smug look as he raises a claw toward the collar of his suit. âWell, aye ainât the knife thrower aye was. Got somethinâ more, somethinâ worth showinâ te makeâem all real scaredâ His voice trails with an added growl at the end, a sharp toothed grin following before chuckling as the meadowâs field had just started blooming its season of wildflowers. Though as they traverse the field, his smile fell into a grimace as he realized that he never did tell him that manâs nature or even his name.
âHe IS gone. Aye made sure of it.â He bluntly states, a smoke trail coming from his feet as it travels in front of the two, showing a large human-like creature. It looked similar to that of Eggman... albeit there are distinct differences, most noticeably the shagged hair, less large in the belly.
âHis name was Urok, couldnât bare time te find out what his first name was. Lied te me about saving me, lied about wanting to get power to âsaveâ people. twisted words to make it so he was always right no matter how much I argued with him. Bastard tried to kill me when I was talking to my Fiancee when I first met her, had a âsafetyâ in my old damn mask that blew up if I took a hit in the face too hard.â His words were getting more and more venomous as he picked into his time with this single human being.
âFrom what Iâve been told, he was supposed to be a damn savior of a disease that came from one resource they use, trying to make it so that they can survive it. But because of so many things happening to him over the course of his life, he went insane... made machines to shut people up, made himself look horrible in the face of business and thought himself better than anyone in the world.â He shook his head. âThe list can go on, like that one time he destroyed an entire 10 mile wide Island city with my body.... and I couldnât do a DAMN thing about it... all I could do is watch from my own eyes..â
His accent had vanished, all that was left of his talk was a growl as the smoked figure he made only was made worse and worse, crumpling into a sinister looking human with plans that meant the world would end itself faster than the people could help revive it.Â
