"All I want is to hangout with my best bud," she said, offering him a grin. When Dell wasn’t being a total asshole, Gumi really did enjoy being with him. Hell, even when he was being an ass she enjoyed being with him. Gumi considered Dell to be her best friend. She had for a very long time.

"Ugh, that fuckin’ game. It was fantastic. Kept me up all night, so of course I couldn’t go to school. So it’s really your fault I’m here!" She joked, still grinning. She pulled out a cigarette for herself and borrowed Dell’s lighter. She put the filter to her lips and inhaled deeply, letting the smoke exit through her nostrils.

"So it's my fault you got addicted to some Sims game? You're ridiculous." Dell introduced a Sims game to Gumi the previous night, and for some reason she had gotten hooked on it. Dell liked the game because he could create sims of people he hated and then kill them off in ways that only a sim could die.

The teen sat in silence for a few moments before looking at Gumi. "What would you like to do? I'm not gonna sit here and listen to you complain that you're bored if I can't think of anything." Dell's apartment was small, so you can only do so many things before getting bored.

"Cuz school sucks and I’m bored," she explained with a shrug. She sighed, knowing she’d have to give him a cigarette if she wanted to get into his house. She pulled out a brand new pack and opened it, handing one to him. Gumi wasn’t bothered by the smell either, as she smoked nearly as much as Dell did and she spent so much time with him she was used to it. She even liked it. 

Gumi strutted into his apartment, letting out a yawn. She kicked off her shoes and took a seat on his couch. Dell’s apartment was kind of like a second home to Gumi, so she had no problem making herself comfortable. “What are we doing today?”

Dell rolls his eyes and takes the cigarette. He pulled a lighter out of his pocket (chances were he almost always had one) and lit the cigarette. The first smoke of the day was always the best, in his opinion. He followed Gumi into his living room after closing the door. Idly letting smoke trail out of his mouth, he sat down next to her.

"Oh, well, I don't fuckin' know. I'm not the one who showed up for no reason." The silver haired teen leaned back against the couch, putting the cigarette between his lips and taking a long drag. "I'm assumin' you want somethin', since you woke me up so early. Oh, how was that game?" When Dell didn't have classes, he stayed up until the run began to rise and then slept for hours on end.

A wide grin formed on Gumi’s blood red lips. If there was one thing she enjoyed, it was irritating Dell. Her teasing was usually completely harmless, and she knew he’d never really act on any of the threats he made to her. She’d really have to fuck up for Dell to ever hurt her.

"Don’t act so angry. We both know you’re thrilled I’m here. Now open up! I brought smokes," she informed him, knowing it was unlikely he’d reject her with the offer of a free cigarette. Whether or not she’d actually give him one was a whole other story.

"You fuckin' woke me up, of course I'm angry! Why're you here, anyways?" He pulled the door open, now staring at the girl in his doorway. "Gimme some now." Dell could always smoke. His room usually smelled like cigarettes. He didn't really care as he didn't mind the smell and barely anyone was in there, anyways.

Gumi and Dell had known each other for what felt like forever. They were always doing stupid things to piss the other off, and Gumi coming here was just one of the many thing she did to make Dell angry. And it worked. He moved out of the way to let her in, kicking some of his shoes out of the way to make room.

Surprise Visit | | Dell

When Gumi’s alarm went off at 6:30 on Friday morning, she just couldn’t bring herself to get out of bed. She’d stayed up late playing a new game Dell had gotten her into, and she was just too exhausted for school, so she decided to start her weekend early. She went back to bed for a few hours, and when she awoke, she decided to go harrass Dell. After all, it was basically his fault she’d been up all night. 

It took her about an hour to get herself ready, and fifteen minutes to make it to his apartment. Gumi pulled into the parking lot, stepped out, and made her way up several flights of stairs to Dell’s shitty apartment (which she was totally envious of). She began to pound on his door until he answered.

Dell was sleeping when someone began knocking, rather loudly too, on his door. Did he really need to get up for this? He thought he made it clear to people that he liked being left alone. Whoever it was, though, made it clear that they weren't giving up, so Dell had no choice but to get dressed and answer the door.

Well, he didn't really answer the door. He basically stood in front of it, a frown etched onto his face. There's only a handful of people Dell could think of that would be here, but only one person stuck out the most. "Gumi, if you're on the other side of this damn door I swear to God I'll kill you dead."

The day after Dell turned eighteen, his parents sent him out of the house. They were nice enough to give him some money to rent an apartment somewhere. To spite them, Dell began renting in the same building as his parents.
