EXCLUSIVE UPDATED: Greg Spottiswood, creator, executive producer and co-showrunner of All Rise, has been let go from the CBS legal drama by series’ producer Warner Bros. Television, Deadline …
All Rise’s court proceedings will not reconvene at a later date: CBS has cancelled the legal drama after two seasons, TVLine has learned.
WHAT-THE-HELL????? I heard this was cancelled, and all I could think was: Here the f*ck we go again. Why is that when there’s a good show with a black female lead, it somehow get’s cancelled, and someone, please spare me the bullsh*t about; “ Yeah, but the show is diverse”. This show may be diverse, but stuff hasn’t changed that damn quick in peoples minds, especially when it comes to what they’d rather see on their television screen. I feel like a lot of people in regards to the plethora of cop shows on tv. Does CBS really need more of this? I think not. Lastly if you really need proof as to how Hollywood is still playing at so called diversity, and representation, there are plenty of primetime shows playing bait and switch with black female characters, backdooring them and replacing them with their lighter skinned counterparts.

This is my first time watching the video of what transpired last ‘Wednesday, and I all I can say is that I’m not at all surprised at what happened. This, America, what you see right here, is what’s always been. This is the same country that made lynching a law, and the ‘Unsworn White Civilian was given carte blanche by the government, Law Enforcement, to do whatever the hell they wanted to a black body, rules and laws didn’t apply. And that message still resonates today, and the ‘Stand Your Ground Law is simply an offshoot to the Jim Crow days, a nod to what’s been allowed to stand, and every white person living in this country knows it, which is why the rhetoric that’s been spewing from, Donald Trump since before his presidency has been ignored. All the laws that they used to keep us as a people in check, that they themselves never abided by, is now backfiring in a big way, and it’s playing out for all the world to see. This is what happens when you decide that one race is so superior that they’re beyond accountability.
And as far as Donald Trump goes, he was simply a mirror to this country’s true face. He took what many thought was old,(racism) and breathed new life into it, and he laid the groundwork by sowing seeds of doubt surrounding, Barack Obama’s birth certificate, and whether or not he was an, American. Trump knew this would resonate in the minds of a specific crowd, and the more he talked about it, and the media covered it, the more attention he got, and certain groups( White Supremacists) took notice, it wasn’t long before he recognized what worked; White people losing the country to black and brown folks, is a nightmare that became all too real when Barack became president. Donald Trump being the ‘Master-bullshitter that he is, didn’t have to use racist epithets, all he had to do was use key words to describe certain groups of people such as; Thug which he used often back in 2016 to describe black ‘NFL players who refused to stand for the flag. Now anyone with intelligence knows that they way in which he used it and how it was geared specifically towards black men, that was code for the word he knew he couldn’t say, which was(n*gger) and Trump wasn’t the only one doing it, there were others before him that were doing it, those in the media, as well as in government.
Everything that this man has done since day one since day one; sowing seeds of conflict and divide. Lying, Bullying and shifting blame and then having the audacity to play the victim. This man purposely supported and courted White Supremacy ideology and those in the Republican party were right there along with him. Lindsay Graham, Mitch McConnell, you name it. They were all about what they could get out of it: how it could help them politically. Trumps narcissistic behavior cost the country like many of us knew that it would. Narcissists are prone to committing illegal acts for the sake of money and power, and they don’t give a damn about about who get’s caught in the crossfire, nor the chaos and destruction they leave in their wake. And when it’s all said and done they will never, ever, take responsibility. Like I told my mother, back when he was elected: “Trump is going to go in like trash, And go out like trash.”
