today's funky frog of the day is the green frog (Lithobates clamitans) - this stunning example is a blue morph, caused by a lack of yellow pigment in the skin! this is one of the most common frogs in eastern north america, and show some diversity in their coloration, although usually not as intensely blue as this fellow.

An Amphibian Affair

A ‘ribbiting’ conversation amongst the local amphibians of Toadstool Pub. I’m really pleased with this piece, and had a lot of fun with it! Heck, I even put it up on my INPRNT store (link in replies/reblogs).
