To clarify for those who don't know, "free the nipple" isn't about going braless, it's about going topless

No shirt, no bra, completely bare torso, just like cis men are allowed to

It's about desexualizing breasts and "female presenting nipples" and not being criminalized for our bodies if we want to go topless because it's a million damn degrees out. This was a popular growing movement that was still widely known a decade ago!

And the fact that not wearing a bra is so discouraged and stigmatized that people think the movement was about being able to go braless under your shirt in public rather than about being able to not wear a shirt at all says a lot about how far we've backslid in the past decade

#legal in canada but nobody does it #because it's not about the legality atp #they asked women why they don't do it now that it's legal #the main reason was fear of harassment and assault #we not only need to make it legal we need a huge societal shift

I do think it would be funny, just once, to have a Freaky Friday movie that was completely derailed by the existence of the supernatural. Like yeah, we're in each other's bodies, that's freaky, but this fundamentally changes our relationship to the world and all other concerns become secondary to finding out what happened, how, and what this means for humanity as a whole.

yall aren't going to understand or care about this post but i have to say it, if elumen was as good as everyone acts like it is, every hairdresser everywhere would use it over any other colour brand

#it doesn't outperform other brands the way that people like to act like it does #it still fades and bleeds #and any direct dye can become permanent in the sense that it won't leave your hair after it's faded #i'm sorry but they have not figured out a magical way to make hair colour that has no drawbacks #and somehow no other brand has been able to figure it out.#i worked with elumen in college #it's fine. it works. it's a direct dye. it's not unicorn piss
