"LGB without the T" yeah i remember when the letter that people were mad at was B and saying they didn't belong in the acronym because bisexuality isn't real. what is it with the need to have someone to attack?? do you guys just have such terrible internalized homophobia that you're projecting it onto trans people? are you chomping at the bit to have an excuse to treat someone else the way society has treated you? trans people are not and never have been the enemy, and you're either delusional or willfully ignorant if you don't think the way you treat trans people is the exact same fucking thing as the way homophobes treat you. they are not the ones causing division in the community, YOU are the one doing that. they are not making the community look like a joke, YOU are halting their progression to get to the point where society DOESNT see them as a joke. you think you're protecting the community by aligning with people who want us all dead?? give your head a fucking shake

can we please stop putting so much time, resources and money into the futile attempt to make the internet a safe space for kids. i've said it before i'll say it again it's just like trying to make the entire world a safe space for children. it is impossible. it is never going to happen. it's up to parents to keep their kids off of the internet or heavily monitor what they do online. the ridiculous censorship is bad enough especially considering everything they censor online a child could easily hear out in the world. god forbid a child sees the word fuck typed out when they literally hear their parents and their parents friends say fuck all the time. and parents need to not rely on a social media ban to actually keep their kids offline. come on, you remember being a kid. there will be ways around it, there always are. do i wish i had been kept off of social media when i was younger? hell fucking yes dude, social media made my life hell. but the solution is not to require photo ID to sign up to websites that get hacked all the time. the solution is for parents to pay attention and be diligent and monitor everything their kids do online if they're letting them be online.
