American Poetry - Brendon Burton
âI never envy other women, when my soul is dirty, and my heart is useless, I look for other women. And I make home on their thighs. I ask for their soft voices. I ask them to feed me success on golden spoons. Their hands in my hair, all their burning things in my house. And I think about love, I think of the love I have for them. Their analytical lips, their long hair on my sofa. Their brilliant suffrage in my sunny living room. I feel them on my body. When their lover betray them, I send them bottles of parfume. I write them poetry. I, too, smash the dishes. We mix our blood in flower petals and boulevards. How can I envy other women? When we all emerge from the same rib, sharing similar sins. When I donât want to be the woman I am; I become all the other women.â

If you think youâre bi for a month or a year or your whole life and then realize youâre a lesbian, thatâs fine!!
If you think youâre a lesbian for a month or a year or your whole life and then realize youâre bi, thatâs also fine!!
Figuring out your sexuality is a long and complicated process, and things can change. It doesnât mean you were lying, faking, or anything like that, and if anyone says otherwise theyâre wrong and also horrible. Girls who like girls are cool no matter what your history is
