Last Call
SSV and SSV63 both shut down tomorrow. It’s the last I’ll be seeing any messages, so if there’s anything not working on the blog or there are any problems or comments, now is the time to send them. I’ll make one last post with the sidebar links on both blogs before shutting down.

EDIT: I thought this was on my personal smut blog. Yes, this is smutstuckvoices so it’s closing too.
No. This is a personal blog and I’m not shutting it down any time soon. SSV/63 are group blogs that required a lot of attention and trying to organize about 30 people. So it’ll be nice to just be left to my own devices without that hanging over my head.

I wanted to tell you all out loud we are ending. You don’t have to listen, just know we are shutting down. Closing the doors. Saying goodbye. There are a few points I would like to cover, though.
I will leave the ask box open till the 10th for anyone with questions.
All actors, writers, editors, etc are welcome to keep the work they have produced and use it however they want.
If there are any links or files not working, tell me now so I can fix them before shutting everything down.
I have made the decision long ago that when this blog ends, it ends with me. I will not hand it off to someone else.
If you want to contact me in regards to anything unrelated to this blog or to be mad about it, do it at superspecialsmut.
On the 10th, I’ll be transferring these blogs over to an account I’ve set up for dead side blogs. This means I will no longer get asks through here, so please let me know if there are any problems or anything I should address before that time.

Hey there. I've been listening to the group for a while and I just have a quick question. Ii the leader of the homestuck anime project and I wanted to know if there is any way we could colab voice actors or exchange info.
I wouldn't give out my actor's info without their permission. If you wanted to get into contact with them, I suggest going to our cast list and following the link to get a hold of them.
If any of them are interested, they can check out the link (if this is indeed the right link).

I saw that some of your characters are double casted, is that because of lack of auditions? If so, could someone still audition for the part?
While there has been a lack of auditions, people are double cast because they auditioned for those parts and I liked their voices for them the best.
I have a cap of 4 characters to a person, but if a character is cast, it's because I feel the voice fits.

Okay so I have a couple things to ask. I am anonymous currently because if I audition I would rather be credited by my Kankri blog, not my personal blog. Would that be okay? I am going to post sfw content on that Kankri blog soon so you can hear more of the voice. Would you want me to include the blog URL with my audition? That's all I had to ask and by the way I just recently started checking out the recordings and your casting and voices are all spot on. Keep up the good work!

Yes, being credited to whatever blog you want or not to be credited at all is fine. I just need a means of contacting you. If you wanted your credit to just be "anon" with no links, that'd be fine too.
However, I only accept files for auditions, not links and there does need to be nsfw material (as in sex sounds) for me to be a good judge of whether or not you fit in the cast.
And, if you want to be credited with a link, then you do need to include the URL. For everyone who I accept I do ask what name they want to be credited as and if they want me to link to anything.
Also a general statement: Everyone auditioning needs to tell me their age.

I just want to say that ive been a faithfull fan since very close to the very beginning. Its been a while since youve updated, so i just want to say. Just take your time. As soon as you and the cast are ready to post another i will still be here waiting. cant wait :)
Thank you. Real life and original projects have been making it hard to work for everyone all around I think. I want to get back to a good rate of productivity. I just need to get a better grasp on time management.

I would very much prefer not, especially since for the most part you will be recording on your own. I also want to see if the file works to begin with.
Not to mention I kind of just want to know the voice before the person here. Not to make any assumptions, but I've had people try to tell me this is "all they have" or that they get anxiety over not getting cast, etc, and I'd rather not open myself up to anyone trying to appeal to my emotions.

Nah, I've gotten very used to it. I was in the first wave of actors cast when HSV was started, so once you get over the nervousness of acting porn, then listening to it, it's not really that overwhelming to listen to it regularly and critically rather than for pleasure.
Not gonna lie, though, there are instances where I am absolutely blown away by a person's voice. @__@

I read the FAQ and didn't see anything on the 'Request List' that's at the side of the page. I'm not requesting anything, I know requests are closed anyhow, but is the requests list just a sort of 'Things That Need Prompts List'? Just things to think about? ( Sorry there's probably an answer somewhere that I'm missing. Or just logic. )
I don't know what you mean by "not seeing anything on the request list" since it is very much there and very much full.
The request list is exactly what it sounds like: It's requests we have received and, if the asker included prompts, those are there too. What is listed there are requests that need scripts. I post it so people can look at it before the request something OR to see if they want to write for anything we already have on our plate.
