Britvic to axe Drench water in favour of Ballygowan

Due to a continuing drop in sales, Britvic have announced plans to drop the Drench water brand along with Pennine Spring water and concentrate on the newly revamped Ballygowan brand. 

  Ballygowan is currently the number-one brand in the Republic of Ireland, where Britvic plan to continue to manufacture from following the planned closure of their Huddersfield site. It has been made clear that the more successful Drench juice drinks will be unaffected.  Supplies of Drench and Pennine Spring water are set to cease within the next couple of months. Franchisees may wish to consider Thirsty Planet water as a suitable alternative.
