Here's something new... the Peregrine Project :) as stated in an earlier post, Chris is the test pilot for this prototype- it makes for some interesting tech elements and a great angst starting point. Side note I'm never drawing a mech suit again I hate rendering metal lol

Hi guys I'm back :) here's the schematics for the Tortuga, which in my AU is a marvel agents of shield style cargo plane turned mobile headquarters. This was so fun to design and hopefully I didn't miss anything (other than a bathroom. totally forgot to add a bathroom but we can just pretend I didn't. imagine there's a bathroom under the stairs in the garage or smth). Anyway hope you like it- I'd never made a schematic like this before so it was a fun change of pace!

Since I'm leaving until the 8th, you guys get a present first lol. Here's the full lineup- main 5 and villains! It's so unbelievably satisfying to see them all together like this after all the hours I put into their designs and rendering lol. So enjoy, and see you July 8th ;)

My final character sheet of the collection is Gourmand- and yes, I accidentally made him pretty, my art style tends to do that lol. As mentioned in his sheet, his restaurant is named after the Ortolan Bunting, a bird now illegal to use for cooking purposes. I really like how I did the logo for the restaurant, the font just makes me happy idk. I struggled with characterizing Gourmand a little bit at first because he's just so cartoonified and a little basic in the show (he's pretty much just "evil chef") but I love his character now and I like how it turned out!

Here she is!! Ngl this is the character sheet I've been most excited to release, just because I love her lol. As mentioned in a different post, I altered her surname in my AU for realism, switching it to Daurella (pronounced dau-ray-ah). This is the surname of a real old-money Spanish family, and I thought it fit.

Below her character sheet are the logos of the companies she runs- Morgana and Dama. I chose Morgana because I just thought it sounded cool, but Dama means "lady" in Spanish and I thought it was very Donita to choose such an elegant name. And like it says in the sheet-- Koki was a model for Dama when she was a teenager, so that adds to the connections between Donita and the main five. Anyway she's so dramatic and such a diva and I love her

Today you guys get Zach :) as I mentioned in a previous post, I changed his surname for a more realistic feel-- in my AU, it's Varmín, pronounced var-mahn. As noted in the sheet, he went to science camp with Aviva every summer when they were kids. In middle school, she had an emo "not like the other girls" phase, mostly because she had a crush on Zach. However, she grew out of this by the time she hit high school (of course, he didn't-- his entire life is an emo phase, and he hates that Aviva is a better inventor than him- but also still totally likes her). He started Varmitech Industries straight out of high school and asked Aviva to be his business partner, but she knew he wasn't going to have ethical practices so she declined. Zach hangs this over her head to this day ("you could have been a millionaire if you'd joined me!") but she doesn't give a crap.

Don't worry, the character sheets aren't over yet! Today you get Paisley, whose last name I also changed for realism (like-- Paver? I just 💀 it's definitely a kids show). But anyway, this is a little different than you might expect-- she's on the good side in my AU! She works for the IWCA with the main wild kratts group, and in fact is one of their bosses. I kept her very unempathetic, serious demeanor though, and her very monochromatic color palette.

It's kind of late at night (for me at least) but as promised, here's today's character sheet- Jimmy! I do really like the backstory I gave his character: raised wealthy (& kinda spoiled) in East Harlem, was a party-hard stoner in high school up until the loss of his best friend as described in the sheet. Vowed never to endanger himself or others in that way again, moved across the country, and threw himself into military pilot training at Westray AFB. Soon discovered the IWCA (based also at WAFB) and switched to their C-5 program to become a mobile unit pilot- was assigned to the wild kratts team and the rest is history!

He's also the only WK member with an apartment off campus, so the team often uses it as a hub for hanging out or going over mission briefings. And he drives them all to get pizza in his creepy windowless kidnapper van lol

Here's one of my favorite designs-- Koki :) Her outfit is so cute and also she's such an interesting character- I chose to take the approach that I've heard in a few other AUs where she has connections to Donita and high fashion. This gives her depth and also gives me the opportunity to draw a lot of gorgeous outfits lol

Also fun fact, her last name is actually Kenyan and it means "to return". She wants to live up to this by someday returning to her birth country. And another side note- I changed Donita's last name to "Daurella" because 1. I like the more realistic feel for my AU, 2. Her first name is Spanish, so I chose a matching Spanish last name, and 3. Daurella is the surname of a real old money family in Spain, so I thought it fit. And you guys will get to see Donita's companies and their logos soon!

Ok guys here's number three! Today we get Aviva :) btw this isn't her actual inventing outfit, it's more of a college outfit- I'll make more art of her working later. Also her flare jeans are so iconic Side note, Zach's surname (Varmín w/ French pronunciation, pronounced var-mahn) is inspired by @elmushterri's wild kratts video!

Part 2 of my character sheet collection-- here's Martin :) I absolutely love the gap tooth smile, I just think it's so perfect for his character (he totally got braces but forgot entirely about his retainers and therefore has Wonky Teeth again lol). Also, silly socks because he just needs them. I gave Chris some too but they were a little less bright. Also, I reduced the brothers' age gap to 1 year in my AU for plot convenience.

Here's the first character sheet of my collection! Chris is the narrator/kind of main character in my AU, so I figured it was only right for him to go first. I'll be posting one character sheet per day for the next week or more!

Some context: Instinct (top left corner) is the name of my AU. It'll appear on every character sheet. WMU stands for White Mountain University, the fictional college that the main 5 attend in the AU. Rockdale is the (also fictional) college town where CK and MK grew up. The IWCA is the organization they work for- check out my previous post for details on that! And the Peregrine Project? I've got a post ready for that one too, so stay tuned ;)

The IWCA is the organization that the wild kratts group works for in my AU-- it is a conservation agency that presents an outward face of diplomacy, activism, and lawmaking. The reality of the IWCA, however, is that they're willing to do what it takes for real change behind the scenes. This means developing experimental weapons technology and deploying groups of field operatives to take down unethical companies (the WK group is one of these teams). And of course, the entire agency is protected by a fleet of lawyers and extensive training for all agents that ensures that nothing breaks international law or causes a scandal. Also don't worry guys, more character content coming soon-- I have like 9 pieces lined up, including character sheets! ;)

Ok guys, my old blog gets a rebrand and focus change :) welcome to my wild kratts au ✨ Quick summary so you know what you're in for: the main 5 are college kids/field agents for a secretive conservation agency. You're gonna get complex villains, moral gray area, slow burn (Chriviva if you're into that), and all this with art, character sheets, sneak peeks, and a chance to influence the plot if you have a really good idea. Right now I have a worldbuilding doc and a plot skeleton but more to come soon!
