tbh I think we should probably get a lot more comfortable outright calling transandrophobic behavior misogynistic when it’s misogynistic, even and especially when it comes from other trans people. And just making it clear that transandrophobia in general is largely rooted in misogyny. I get that it’s been downplayed partially bc it can make us dysphoric, but I think a bigger reason we’ve downplayed it is because it makes other trans people uncomfortable. But maybe their discomfort is not on us to fix or avoid. Why should we have to avoid talking about our reality just because it makes others uncomfortable? People AFAB are usually/often taught from birth to go the extra mile to avoid making others uncomfortable (which is, of course, misogyny). Maybe it would be good for us to stop doing that.

Noxus reminds me very much of Beo, so here’s Mel as a Golrau. Gold and all.

She wears a lot of adornments and jewellery in the show, so I drew her with some traditional Teldwan adornments.

Septum Ring & Coined Veil: Often worn as a symbol of status, usually royalty. The red is the colour of the nation, and the gold is an indication of wealth.

Nose Bridge Ring: Represents wisdom and strength; a symbol of the Goddess Jerul.

Fun Fact!

Golrau skin is almost completely non-reflective, so in the dark, without the adornments, any Golrau with dark colours completely disappears. If the Golrau has light skin, it may be a bit easier to see, but still difficult.

The only part of a Golrau that has normal reflective properties is the coloured feathers on the throats of males.
