Hello, I am SnakeBytez_, also known as Logan, Bytez, or Lunaris. Due to Tumblr username restrictions, I am unfortunately stuck with snake-bytez instead, which still isn't nearly as devastating as my original usernames of ye old childhood.

It is in my bio but I will say it on this as well, I use he/they/star/it/moon pronouns. No specific order of preference, or any preference at all, just anything besides she/her.

I'm a queer creator who is barely active. Living that Grian-style life when it comes to social media /hj

I am still very much inactive on normal terms, and I do not post to build an audience. I post for myself whenever I feel like it.

This goes for anything I do. Writing, I will post to AO3 whenever it's done, and when it's done is on my own time with zero schedule. Anything I draw is whenever I feel like it, and posting said drawings? Even rarer, but usually when I already have a picture taken that I shared with friends. I do not draw with the express purpose of posting it online, sorry for those actually legitimately interested in seeing much more.

This is a relatively SFW space. I may make a joke here or there if I'm feeling it, but you will not see any outright NSFW content. Any jokes will be properly tagged. As said above, my Bluesky does not hold that same promise. There are warnings for NSFW posts, but unlike Tumblr, I can't just hide a post under the cut. Bluesky does not have locked accounts however, and I am NOT going back to twt, so Bluesky is not a minor-friendly space. I cannot moderate who sees my page, but I will block minors who try to follow me there from here on out.

I love my Pomni design, I need more people to make it so very much more creature-like. Also shoving it/its Pomni at you btw I believe in this so strongly that it has been slipping out while writing Feedback Loop and I had to keep correcting myself. Siiigh Feedback Loop Pomni have your identity crisis sooner please so I can continue writing creature shenanigans in my own canon........

Happy Disability Pride Month. Like most celebrations of anything "outside the normal", I've been seeing stupid fucking takes since day one.

Hi, I'm Bytez and I have a physical disability. It's not diagnosed officially, but it runs in my family and it's mutually agreed upon anyway. Everything is normal for me, but not normal in general.

I also experience auditory hallucinations and am suspected to have autism and/or ADHD, both of which have been diagnosed to a variety between my siblings and my mom.

Nothing in that list is diagnosed. But that is sorta the first step to getting diagnosed, the suspicion and family medical history. Nothing is diagnosed because I've gone in and out of coverage the past few years that I can't even make a "non-essential appointment" without running the risk of having to pay the whole thing out of pocket. Sliding-scale fee programs are nice and all, but the multitude of appointments that would need to be made for the variety of things to get diagnosed is far too grand. That all adds up way too fast.

Accessibility as a concept itself covers a lot of things, from disability-friendly fonts and braille to the very right to live your life. Accessibility through financial needs is an important part of medical accessibility as well. When you strip away coverage to one thing, you run down the path of stripping away coverage to everything.

It is more than just "keeping kids from being trans until they're adults or you pay out of pocket", it is a pipeline that is meant to monetize your entire existence until you die. It is more than "saving babies", it is a way to ban life-saving care. It is more than "keeping HRT away from the freaks", it is still denying help to those who need it and condemning anything that's out of their ordinary. You must be surgically fixed at the first mere breath of your life if something isn't to their standards, but if you want a gender-affirming surgery that goes against what they assigned you then that's a fucking problem.

There is enough money and infrastructure around to have universal free healthcare. But no, the options you get are: Pay out of pocket, pay out of pocket again but it's cheaper somehow because it's in a whole other country? (of which is a trip that could be very laborious to some disabled people who may be looking for life-saving procedures), or you can deal with it forever until you die whether or not that death is caused by whatever you're having to pay out of pocket for.

It is not that we can't do it, it's that greed is entwined in our very foundation. It's that they don't want to do it because then they can't suck every cent out of your pockets, out of the doctors who want to save your life, out of the hospitals who will do anything to shelter anyone who needs it but are forced to take people in and half-ass their treatment to constantly have a faster turnaround rate instead, which by the way is never ever satisfactory to them, because more patients means more money and we must cycle through every single goddamn person. It's not going to be "until there is no one else", because there is always, always, someone who needs help, and those who need help will eventually grow desperate enough to agree to whatever bullshit they must put up with.

Anyways. That's my big rambley post for the week and/or month. Again, happy disability pride month. Accessibility means a lot of things.

Pomni is masc non-binary to me. They/It/She pronouns mainly, no particular preference. This is enough in the future where it decided to finally change something with their avatar. This is more of a basic design, but I do think it keeps a jester look. Pomni probably changes the facets to have designs, from simple stripes to more intricate patterns, but keeps the monochrome look going.

There is an alt on my bsky that shows top surgery scars (alongside general artistic barbie-doll nudity....), but I am not posting stuff from bsky on here. Just know that Pomni scars bright yellow for some reason.

Anyways! This is my general design for Pomni. When I write her, this is who I see. Feedback Loop is an exception, I've decided, only because I forgot to mention some details and so maybe it's transition will actually happen within the fic instead. Though, ORATS (which is a funny acronym that I JUST now typed out for the first time ever for my first TADC fic which is called "Our Reflection Ain't The Same" lmaoo??) Pomni was written as transmasc nonbinary from the get-go so I have always seen Pomni as such. It's just even stronger now that Pomni kinda easily accepted that she's not Abigail and gets to continue living their own life disconnected from the human world.

Funnybunnydoll is all t4t btw and they're all sapphics. Ragatha is a trans lesbian, Jax has no fucking clue but some day she settles on a general "I like women still", and Pomni is aroflux I think. Maybe flips between that, cupioromantic, and autoromantic, though mainly just says aroflux for the convenience. There's a lot going on in that jester's head that it doesn't even know how to face so it just goes "I'm aro somewhere somehow I guess"

Idk what else to add. That's mostly the extent of everything? Anyways. Uhh that's it bye.

Sometimes I forget people don't have my exact personal designs in mind when reading my fics. Especially when I don't even mention those details.... Guys my Pomni has a tail, I could've made it MORE expressive in Feedback Loop... I am missing out on writing crucial headcanon attributes.

Only refraining on dumping the designs right here right now due to spoiler reasons, but maybe if I get off my ass and figure out embedding images I'll throw em into the next chapter? Idk...

Oh yeah I should probably say something over here too. Hello resident Tumblrites! I have posted a new TADC fic for the masses. Though! Fair warning!! It most definitely contains spoilers for The Last Act! I watched it on opening day, tickets bought 2 months ahead and everything.

Anyways, if anyone's interested, Feedback Loop has 3 chapters out so far. Again, there are numerous points of spoilers for the finale. If you don't care about spoilers, heed any warnings in the tags and in the notes.

Just want to say, the only place my fics should be is on AO3. If you find them elsewhere, I have not uploaded them there myself.

I don't use any other site for my fics. I used to have Wattpad, I started on Wattpad in a more official sense (rather than hand-written as a little kid and sharing with my friends who wrote their own fics we all read together. which is a whole different ballpark entirely–), but I haven't had an active Wattpad account in nearly 5 years now.

Also I will never go back to Wattpad either. My early days with the platform was great imo, but the more they corporatized and paywalled a bunch of shit, the less I wanted to be there. I stopped posting frequently for awhile, and then I completely deleted my account and made a full move to AO3 eventually.

All in all, if I haven't mentioned an account somewhere, chances are I either never had it, or no longer have it as I purged a lot of shit around the same time. I saw a few fandoms I'm in mention that fics in said fandoms were being reuploaded to Wattpad, and while I don't really give a shit on tracking all it down anyway, I do hope people who read them know where to find me officially, if that makes sense? Chances are, zero credits given if I'm even affected, but still. I don't give a shit, just gently guide people to the actual creators rather than attack the poster, methinks. Chances are (especially with Wattpad's reader age-range from what I knew), that's a kid getting bashed for posting something they probably loved reading themself. Yes, it's "wrong", but there are worse issues online than someone reuploading a fic elsewhere to get more eyes on it I think.

Anyways. Yeah, that's about the whole thing. Don't police my works, but let people know it's mine, y'know? Cool.

You lot are so goddamn miserable in the Hermits Gamers For Giving streams. Stop fucking complaining all over chat. "audio sucks" Okay?? And? That's all you have to say about all this? This is a charity event where these guys are having fun messing around with their friends. Audio quality is the least of their concerns, clearly. Have you zero manners? They can't even see chat anyways! While yes, this is technically a live show, it's not put up for you specifically.

We're only at the first event, Silly Games, and everywhere "Put the mics up to the contestants!!" "We can't hear!!" "This is a dogshit event, can't even afford to fix audio problems" All of which I have seen in Grian's chat specifically. The purpose is to raise money for charity, that's it.

People arguing in chat over answers "Guys, Mumbo isn't even here!!!" Guess what..... Mumbo cutout be upon ye. "Idiots, Gem is Canadian!" Okay? "It's not Joel, he's still streaming." And? Not everyone is gonna sit there and watch every single broadcast all at the same time.

Can we shut the fuck up for once? You lot piss me off. Where did all this come from anyhow? People were much kinder the last few years, what changed this year? You are not entitled to all these live events, actually. While it is an annual event at this point (Hermits specifically, I am well aware Gamers for Giving has been going on for a long time) it is also a small handful of people hosting this. Mojang has lent their studio and some of their staff, but this is not a huge live event like TwitchCon or something. Only a few things are pre-planned, and that's purely the schedule.

I'm not the only one to be irrationally annoyed when people don't read my tags, right? Like, sorry you came into this with a misunderstanding, but my tags made everything very clear before you started.

Please, just.... Don't skip over tags?? They're there for a reason, even for something as minor as thinking one guy was a whole other guy with the same first name (<- what someone commented to me a few days ago????).

I get it's hard to track characters of MCYT by first name alone, but there shouldn't have been a confusion of Joey, who was posted under "Taurtis" with the additional tags of "Taurtis is Joeyish" and "Joey | Joeyish is Taurtis" in the same string of tags (before his tags were updated from "Taurtis (Video Blogging RPF)" to "Joeyish | Taurtis" btw, which is WHY I made the tags to say so)

Confused with who, you may ask? Joey Graceffa???? Of which, mind you, him and/or any form of his content isn't tagged anywhere? "I thought I missed something from Empires..." If I included more straightforward content from Empires SMP besides a few nicknames and titles, I would've included Empires in the fandom tags. I am so serious. The only reason YHS is tagged is because Reborn as a whole series digs into the (character) pasts of Grian and Joey while connecting it to current day character lore (and bringing Joey into said current day lore), which also means YHS is a critical part of that.

Anyways. All in all... AO3 tags are there for a reason. Tags are your friend. Please use them. Whether you're the one posting or the one reading, it doesn't matter. Use tags to your advantage. I dunno how many times I gotta say it. I use tags for my readers, I use tags for every single thing. I tag any form of pairing, just in case. Hell, the Reborn series is tagged with "Implied Sexual Content" despite not digging too far into it besides a casual mention here and there, mostly in a joking manner. (still can't believe they've canonically— *gets dragged off the stage suddenly* /j) Why tag it then? Because not everyone is comfortable with sexual content of any form! It's there to be filtered out! Some people are fine with implied, just explicit is off the cards. THAT is why the distinction is important. THAT is why I tag it. For filtering, and so people know what they are getting into.
