rocky laughs. “no, like, dude’s so grouchy but he was also kinda nice? it was weird. no need to yell at him. he said you have a way with your goblin children and i may have been rude first, but he was saying nice things about you so. he’s good.”

the easiest way to explain him is half angel, half demon but that’s not quite right. a half angel, half demon mother and an angel turned demon father means his genetics are…messy. his personality and moral compass definitely lean more towards the angelic side, but he does get into his fair share of mischief. and though he’s slow to anger, it’s not a pretty sight once he’s there. there are plenty who think he shouldn’t exist so he mostly socializes with his parents, thanks to living most of his life on the move. he makes acquaintances in new places, but he knows it’s dangerous to get close, to trust someone.

Name: Oliver "Ollie" Robin Eriksen

Gender: Male (he/him)

General Appearance: On the taller side, about 6'2. Loves a sweatshirt. Has been known to rock the crew neck + shorts combo in the summer. Lives in slip-ons that he only replaces once they've been worn to the ground. Has glasses, should wear them all the time, but you'll see him without them as often as you'll see him with them.

Personality: Doesn't know how to just sit still, has to be doing something, even if it's like a fidget. A good time guy with a heart of gold. Ride or die for his friends and family. An absolute "yes" friend to even the most mundane of ideas. Like, he'd go to the dentist with you if you asked.

Special Talents: He can play trombone! He did band through school and he absolutely picked trombone just because the slide made it seem more fun.

Who they like better: He loves them both but I think he spends more time with Leo so he's closer to him.

Who they take after more: Definitely more Leo.

Personal Headcanon: He tried a lot of sports growing up to try and get out some of his energy. He stuck with soccer as a kid before switching to rugby in high school. He played through college and plays in a local club! He's also a gym teacher and coaches!

Name: Mi-sun

Gender: Female (she/her)

General Appearance: Dark, curly hair which she usually wears down. Doesn’t really have a defined style and will wear lots of different things, but she does her best to wear things that aren’t restricting. Always wears the same necklace.

Personality: Doesn’t go looking for trouble, but doesn’t seem to do much to stay out of it if it finds her. A little mischievous but not mean spirited. Loves gossip and wants to know everyone’s business all of the time.

Special Talents: She’s half dokkaebi, half elf! Immortal.

Who they like better: Absolutely adores her dad. Like truly ride or die for him so I think she’d pick him even if she had two parents.

Who they take after more: In personality, she’s a bit more like her cousins. Or maybe her dad in his youth.

Personal Headcanon: Hawthorn is the one who brought Mi-sun to Ki-moon. She “took care” of her parents when they started to cause issues for the Court of Clover and then she saw the baby. She was absolutely not about to let another Buttercup situation happen, so she brought her to Ki-moon hoping he could help her find someone to take the baby. She didn’t expect it to be him, but she knew he’d do a good job.

"I'll be here. But I don't think you're going to need me," she says. But if he does, it's not the end of the world. It's nice to have something lowstakes for him to practice with. She doesn't think he'd ever offend anone, but who knows.

He gives her a smile and a nod before heading for the innkeeper. He manages to make this way through the interaction with that he considers minimal awkwardness because no awkwardness at all would've been too easy. He returns to Fleur, keys in hand. "So, good news, I managed to get us rooms. Less good news? There were only two rooms left so I'll have to share with someone."

It’s hard to feel like he can’t do it when his mom is telling him something like that. She’s not always the one giving the pep talks, but that sort of makes it easier to believe when she does give them. “Okay, you stay here, I’ll waive you over if I need you to step in.”

Name: Pascal

Gender: Male (he/him but gender is also sorta whatever)

General Appearance: Absolutely does not care for using a glamour, so he very rarely uses one (aka only when one of his moms asks him to). His eyes are red and his hair is curly, a bit unruly, and sort of moves like shadows. His veins, where visible through his skin, are black.

Personality: Quiet, reserved, but always observing. Very good at reading people and situations. Skeptical of anyone that's not his moms, Shay, or Buttercup. He can be pretty skittish about loud noises or sudden movements. Would absolutely do terrible things to keep the family safe, but hopes he doesn't have to.

Special Talents: He can manipulate and travel via shadows!

Who they like better: Listen, he loves both of his moms so much, but it's probably Shay.

Who they take after more: Probably more Fleur than Belle.

Personal Headcanon: Belle found Pascal when he was a child trying to sneak into the cottage, he admitted it was to try and get food. He'd been on his own as long as he could remember and at first he was just coming around to eat but when they eventually had to move again, he came along.

Bonus: When Shay's not around and neutralizing his gift, he's usually in a created shadow and sometimes all you can see are his eyes.

Name: Jonah Flynn Lambert

Gender: Male (he/him)

General Appearance: A little over average height, dark hair, and blue eyes. Jeans and a t-shirt more often than not. Lets his facial grow out until he gets sick of it and then shaves and repeats the cycle. Same for his hair.

Personality: Not very outgoing, but much nicer than he has any business being based on who raised him. He's not always going to be the one to start conversations, but he would talk to a wall if he could. Loves to take things apart and put them back together. Protective of the people he cares about, but also a softie at heart.

Special Talents: He inherited his mom's water manipulation skills - he does not know about the darker things he can use it for and mostly just dicks around with it.

Who they like better: He spends a bit more time with dad because he wants to work at the shop so maybe Eli, but I do think Holly is who he goes to for advice and comfort.

Who they take after more: He's a pretty decent mix of the two.

Personal Headcanon: Eli taught him how to cook starting when he was little and on Wednesdays, he makes the three of them dinner.

Name: Ciara

Gender: Female (she/her)

General Appearance: She has black, curly hair that she keeps around shoulder length. Sometimes she wears it up in a messy bun or her sides pulled back. Usually in something comfortable over something super fashionable, but she loves to get all dolled up for revels and parties. She doesn't have wings, but she does have sharper, more pixie-like teeth and she has a jewel embedded in each of her canines to make them look less threatening.

Personality: So inquisitive. Wants to know everything, wants to be involved in everything, always down to learn something new. Speaks five languages: English, Korean, Gaeilge, Tamil, and French. Her father taught her the first four. Tends to be a bit too blunt to be considered nice, but she means well. Once she grows up and learns a bit more tact, she'd make an excellent advisor.

Special Talents: Being half human, quarter fae, and quarter pixie, she doesn't have much in innate magic, but she is immortal like her mother!

Who they like better: She adores both of her parents and wouldn't actually pick out loud, but she is such a daddy's girl. She followed him around as a child and always wanted to do whatever he was doing.

Who they take after more: Kavi, 100%.

Personal Headcanon: Roisin named her after Kieran, but she went with the more traditional spelling of the name. She'd always hoped to name her child after him and was delighted Kavi agreed to it.

florian forces himself up, fighting back another cough. he doesn't know when this cold is going to go away, but it's not soon enough. "thank you," he starts, adjusting to get as comfortable as he can be. "can't be any worse than anything anyone else makes." for all their family's talents, cooking doesn't seem to be listed among them for most of them.

"i've made better, but we're running low on supplies. probably need to stop at a town soon." he's not a great cook, but he can usually muster up a little more flavor than this. "still, it's hot liquid and it'll be good for your throat and your body."

“yeah, it’s been a bit since we’ve stopped, hasn’t it?” he muses, taking the bowl in his hands. the heat is nice and comforting and even if there’s not much in the way of flavor, it’s hopefully something he’ll be able to actually eat. especially with this sore throat. he starts to eat and closes his eyes, savoring the sensation. “i take it no else has gotten sick?” or maybe he just hopes it.
