Getting even? What a poor and petty excuse in her professional opinion. She refrains from needless commentary, though. Better save her breath for a more reasonable circumstance, such as alerting the other to the possibility of hidden dangers. But thus far, their mission has been pretty mundane. Far too easy, in fact. It made the rosen-haired Lupo slightly apprehensive. What if the worst was yet to come? As if it wasn't already.
