anw hes not gonna be on this blog but heres kira’s boyfriend blue hes an assassin who was hired to find and kill kira by kira’s mother but they end up getting trapped in a timeloop together and have an awesome enemies to lovers to back to enemies again bcs only blue remembers anything each time round slowburn

kira doesn’t have his backstory up yet but im gonna get this down here so !! kira isn’t human. he’s part of a species called the Old Ones who are basically eldritch god - like beings who live in a place called the Realms Beyond and personify a concept. its usually something both very nebulous but also very specific, for example two that have existed are the personification of actions with consequences and the personification of symbiosis. most of them do not come to earth at all, but a few do, and take on physical bodies, from which there is no going back. they usually have powers relating to what they’re the personifcation of. the ones that come to earth are usually personifications of concepts that mortals can grasp or relate to, and are drawn to earth by the amount of said concept that’s being practiced by the mortals below. kira, although he appears 20, and has the mentality of a 20 year old, is technically much older. he’s the personification of cycles and repetition, and is the tenth incarnation of his concept. his first incarnation was a girl who decided she wanted to be a normal human, and so got herself adopted by a loving family about 500 years before the current day, but was discovered by a power hungry woman who organised her family to be killed, and just ‘happened’ to be the one to offer to adopt the sole survivour. she’s been using kira’s powers to stay alive for those hundred years, although kira, in his current incarnation, has only been ‘alive’ for about four years. but he has all the memories of his past incarnations, although its like watching something happen to someone else. he considers his past incarnations his siblings. if an incarnation dies, they are reborn into the same body with a new personality and hair/eye colour, which is the only way to tell each one apart. kira’s last incarnation left him notes when he was ‘born’ telling him to run away to escape their abusive mother. it took him a year to be able to do it, at which point he was able to make his escape and strike out on his own. with his mother no longer draining his power, he was able to age, hence why he considers himself twenty. 

he’s actually pretty weak for an old one, because of his first incarnation’s wish to be able to live as a normal human. he can create timeloops, though he has no memory of them until he’s pushed to a certain limit where he chooses if he wants to keep it going, and can create small moments of looping or repetition in time, for example if he cuts someone, he can make it so the wound is stuck in a loop of never closing, and they bleed out, but it takes a lot of concentration and energy. he repeats words and phrases a lot, and gestures in circles a lot, as well as naturally paces in circles.
