The Seven Year Anniversary of Book Seven

Apologies for the sudden infusion of Harry Potter-related posts. Sherlocking will resume shortly, but I only realized a little while ago that today was the seven year anniversary of the publication of Book Seven in the Harry Potter series, my first fandom.

I went trawling through my LJ and located the entry I posted detailing how I celebrated the release of the final book (and the resolution of Snape’s story) with Perosha (a fellow podcaster for snapecast), Trevor the toad, and Snarky (the naughty owl plushy who delivered the owlpost for snapecast). Yes, this is completely ridiculous, but I don’t do fandom to be serious.
