"What concerns do you have? Worried that this trip my become a reenactment of ‘Snakes on a plane’?"

She glared at him and shrugged “Silly you and your jokes…”

"Well, I have to give you some form of in-flight entertainment right? Besides, I’m not allowed to use my computer on the plane. Its a legit concern though, since with a few button presses, accident or not, I could shut down this plane mid-air." He was speaking in whispers.

"Yeah yeah, real impressive." She smirked

"Indeed it is. I would never forgot the first time I accidentally made a plane go offline in midair by typing ‘grounded lol’ on my laptop."

She gave him one last glare, and then sighed.

After days of no sleep, pulling out her own hair, crying, not eating, and no music, she barely had any energy reserve left within her. She thought it better than to use it on this dog.

"Since you got sick… Lady Satsuki has given me the responsibility to do what you usually do. Gather data, run the tech department or whatever it is you do, and I just." Another sigh.

"I’m Nonon Jakuzure, not Houka Inumuta. I don’t know what made me believe that I could do what you do, what I do, and watch Matoi without going insane."

"I… I give up."

Inumuta took a second, more observant glance at Jakuzure. 

Her eyes were wet and black, she sounded very tired and stressed, she was wobbling a little as she stood, indicating tiredness as well, and her pink hair was really messy and rough. All in all, she did not look very well.

Hoka quietly listened to her rant, blinking a bit in surprise when she told him that she was given his job while he was sick. And that honestly would be a job that the Nonon can't take no matter what. He should recommend Satsuki-sama to give the job to Iori next time.

"I'm sorry for falling sick and not giving Satsuki-sama my recommendations to her. But thank you very much for taking my job seriously when you were doing it."

Hoka took out a lollipop and offered it to Nonon.

"You can give up on my job now since I will be resuming my work and all responsibilities of the job now. Here's something for you to thank you, as well as an encouragement for you to not give up on life yet."
