i feel like it's not talked about enough how being a system is just. constantly exhausting. splitting is exhausting, switching is exhausting, dissociation is exhausting, having to make compromises with headmates is exhausting, keeping track of headmates and innerworld information is exhausting. and it's a kind of tiredness that most others around you don't have to deal with and thus wouldn't understand

and in our experience the discontinuation of simplyplural, lighthouse, and octocon made it ten times worse. not that we blame the devs for it, we wish them well, but still. systems in general don't even have a stable place to store information anymore, because now there will always be the paranoia of accessibility apps being taken away right when we get comfortable. and for as reliable as physically writing things down is, that's not accessible to most systems, especially very large systems or systems still living in abusive/dangerous situations

System: Survival Horror Included

i think it might be a good idea to do a bit of a system role call if im gonna be talking about them more so people dont get confused so heres a list of those who dont mind identifying themselves most active members - Simon/Captain (he/him) hes the current host and is usually around i believe he has also already introduced himself when he originally took over the old host's position enjoys looking at pictures of nature - Leon (he/they) thats me! im the current co host and i like to take over whenever simon is resting sorry for spamming your dashes with resident evil fanart it will definitely happen again my friends all know me for my funny one liners/puns and being great at tech support apparently - Adam/Wesker (he/they/it) socially awkward and not much of a talker is usually paired with leon or simon he likes receiving medical book recommendations and eating the same meal on repeat over and over - Junkrat/Jamie/Firecracker (he/they/it) he talks in a funny accent we have dubbed "ALMOST australian" and types in all caps loves making new friends for the sole purpose of forcing them to download overwatch so he can brag about how awesome it is that he has his own videogame appearance less active members - Vodka (she/he) we don't actually know too much about her but she drives us to be more fit and is currently working towards getting us training in mixology - Gideon/G/Giddy (he/they/it) he calls himself giddy because he literally causes the feeling of giddiness when fronting this guy is a freak and loves parties and cute things and we have no idea why hes here but if you see him around say hi - Snarles (any pronouns) im pretty sure everyone knows who this guy is he used to run the roleplay side of our blog before we fully realized we were plural has a very large ego and very little filter

Mother’s Day

Even if you are alone tonight, treat yourself. Dont have children? You are still a mother because you are out there showing others that you care and doing the best that you can. Even if you do not have children, if you have pets, you are their parent.

Have children? Even in trying times, you are doing everything that you can for those children. If you need a reminder, I’m here to tell you that you are a badass mom. This even applies to dads as well. Anyone that takes care of family and you are one of their main guardians; you deserve appreciation as well.

If you are dealing with grief of a passing parent, I am here with open arms to comfort you. Treat yourself. Find a comfort item, turn on a comfort show, talk to a trusted friend, and just know that I am someone that you can always talk to. Even just to remind you that you are not alone in situations. There is someone who is going to have your back. That is me.
