I'll be selling a bunch of my dumb-ass zines at $5 Art Party this Saturday May 24th at Lobot Gallery in Oakland along with many many many others. $5 or less. Stop by! @goatmilk @spillaryclinton #lobotgallery
A zine I made last summer, with some improvements. I found a bunch of selfie like pictures from 1994 of this woman at a thrift store. Not sure what her story is/was, but I attached a my own narrative about marriage, and getting old and slowing down...since I know so much about that.

MICKEY IS MELTING!
These are some images from a zine I made over the summer. I think it's about perspective taking. You guys, everything is super relative. I'm not even joking.
"Party's Over" is a zine I made a few months back. It's about creating stories of our past and putting memories up on pedestals! I do it all the time, how about you?
I've also been reading Lydia Davis recently and she has a story called "Happy Memories" in her book Samuel Johnson is Indignant about a young-ish woman worrying about getting older and not having enough happy memories to keep her warm at night. Because of this concern, she is stressing out about creating these happy memories now while she's still young. So listen up: even though you really want to snuggle up in bed watching movies, don't! Go out into the cold night and get drunk and create some happy memories instead, because you'll be grateful you did later on when you're old. Suffer through those happy memories dammit! No just kidding, kinda. It's all about balance and doing what you want.
This is a zine I made last winter/spring, to go along with a bunch of prints. They're all from this picture of me and my friend from when we were pre-teens. The zine itself is not about my friend, who is still a close friend of mine. The zine is about co-dependence of any sort, and this idea of "forever" that we all can get caught up in.
