Designed in collaboration with NOTCOT, Nescaf targets makers: Its 3-D printed cap doubles as an alarm clock.
Playing the “I’m the designer” card to veto a decision. It’s tempting to shut down a product discussion simply by dint of your job title, but if you can’t explain a design decision in language that other people will understand, you don’t deserve to wear your Ampersandwich T-shirt.

Just when I think I’ve seen the tiniest studio apartments in Paris making efficient use of every last inch of space, some interior design blog or sneaky little Pinterest photograph sends me back to the drawing board with a new physics-defying way of making the most out of living in a small space. 1. "Idlewild is a travel themed bookstore with locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan in New York City. The store gets its name from the original name of JFK airport in the 60s, during the golden age of air travel. Idlewild sells books about travel, countries, language, and culture as well as books in different languages for adults and children. My goal with this project was to elevate their brand and give it a lively kinetic voice."

"Our inspiration for the naming came from the layered design of the building created by ESA Architects. A strong identity for the scheme was developed using color and a three tiered concept which reflects the three floors of the building. This central concept is used throughout the marketing materials to communicate the three key sales messages for the scheme, ‘Unique, Design, Advantage’."
I am a graphic designer and art director from Melbourne Australia. I mostly work in brand identity, illustration and print design. I have created brands for companies all over the world and have worked for award winning studios in both London and Melbourne. I also believe setting yourself personal projects is important. It allows you to explore and experiment outside the bounds of the sometimes restrictive corporate design world.

"Invitation to a photography exhibition, collaboration between Rice Creative / Dong Hau / L’Usine. For the invitation we created a story and shot it frame by frame. This film sequence was reproduced 200 times for the 200 needed invites. The receiver of the invite would get a roll of 35mm film, and be instructed to pull on the tab. The exposed film inside could be read one frame at a time. Each frame had a story of it’s own as well as giving all of the pertinent information such as time date, venue, and exhibition participants."
