hey uhh!! sorry for any non-snk related posts that might be popping up, my xkit is having some problems with reblogging to the right sideblog. i usually delete them after 10 seconds or so since its easy to tell but sometimes one or two might slip under my radar so!!! apologies for that...
I don’t really like how everyone’s shitting on Eren after this chapter. Never really liked him that much, and I understand why people would feel this way but I feel like they should also consider it from his point of view. His peaceful life was ruined by the warriors, so given his character, I think it’s at least understandable why he’s acting this way. I just don’t like how some people refuse to see both sides of the story and either side with the walldians or the warriors only.

And it’s not just Carla saying that, but Hannes as well when he remarks Armin and Mikasa had to drag Eren away from trouble.
The point is, while he grew in a relatively peaceful background compared to Marley warriors, he had the freedom to pick options and he chose to oppose the ones being in the way. And now he doesn’t stop: he’s fully responsible for his actions there.
There’s a reason we’re getting an EMA separation, while these three had their lives ruined by the warriors as well: Mikasa loses her second home, Armin loses his home and his grandfather during the retaking plan… doesn’t mean these two will go risk their lives and wiggle their butts in front of the world as a provocation, like Eren does. Eren’s last sentence in chapter 90 was meant to be ominious. Armin and Mikasa were caught by surprise by his words, and that completely ruined the beach trip ambiance that has just settled.

As of now after the 3 year timeskip, I'm sure eren has gained some control of the coordinate up till a certain degree and armin has trained with his colossal titan power .
Now lets think about this ...... How big are the walls ?
It has to be Huge like really huge spanning hundreds of miles
And now Think of The colossal titans inside the wall They have to be around atleast 50 metres, How many do you think are there inside the 3 walls combined ? . Their numbers would almost definitley be in the millions or more
So An army, An army OF colossal titans made by The First King of the Walls To protect the People of ymir from The marleyans, incase they ever attack . The only way to use them to their fullest is by masterng the coordinate. The first King of the walls had also warned the marleyans to not interfere with the people inside the wall or else he will unleash the millions of wall titans that will 'flatten the earth'
As of now we can be rest assured that the survey corps and eren are completely aware of this, yet they might not know how to use it?, or do they ?
So my theory is that Eren will use these titans as a Plan of defence and maybe even offensively, ofcourse marley is a very advanced nation and to think they have already invented airplanes and blimps just shows how powerful their military is. But even though they are advanced, they certainly dont have 50 metre giants numbering in the millions and neither can they easily defeat 5 of them even with all their technology let alone a mllion This is truly The strongest weapon at eren's arsenal because he can control the wall titans every move And a Huge army of them too.

Ever since the reveal in Chapter 88, as well as the common knowledge that the more a Shifter uses their powers, the more of an effect it has on their body, I’ve been meaning to talk about this but never got around to it. But now, it’s here!
We’ll be taking a look at a full list of all of Eren’s canon titan transformations/titan shifts and will keep a counter in order to estimate the total at the end. Keep in mind there have been off-screen shifts, for instance in the training with Hange, so we can estimate the minimum amount of transformations. Here we go!

It occurs to me that we are reading snk wholly from Armin’s perspective, and Armin presents himself as an underdog who cannot keep up with the boy he loves. But what if snk pulls a giant Yuri on Ice and we find out that from Eren’s perspective it’s the full on opposite. Eren sees Armin as someone amazing but is certain Armin will leave boring old average Eren behind.
And honestly, most of the story already feels like that… Armin’s epiphany in Trost already pulls a similar 180 on the expectations, and though Armin (and Mikasa) always feel Eren is leaving them behind, there’s plenty of panels and hints from the anime that Eren is actually the one anxious of Armin leaving him behind. And up to this point, they’ve even had the same arc of “boy dies in battle, then magically comes back” and they’re both so shaken by it, thinking “wow… he came back to me…”. They both think so highly of each other and so lowly of themselves, they have no idea just how intertwined and loved they really are. I think if Eren were narrating the story, that’s exactly what would happen. He’d describe Armin as this amazing person full of surprises that he just can’t measure up to, only to be blown away when he finds out Armin is actually nuts about him and believes in his power<33333

This is from Eren’s dream in Episode 1 of the anime. As we all know it differs from the manga, and with Chapter 89, it’s safe to say it may have been a message from the future (considering he also sees Carla getting eaten in this same dream). However, is it just a random windmill inside the Walls with the obvious “Oh okay, Titans will break in, we know that already”? No, I don’t think so.
I’m going over the editing of Part 3 right now and I found this during re-reading:
This is Sasha’s village. And.. this is the only place in the manga where I’ve conveniently seen a windmill be placed. Could it be that the dream was a warning for the Clash of the Titans arc? @guyinlovewitheremika already pointed out that it’s not exactly the same as you don’t see the rest of the houses around the windmill, and this windmill is made of wood instead of stone. However, I still think this is appropriate.
Guy also pointed out that Sasha pointed out that her village was relatively new, so it’s possible the windmill was one of the few structures standing at the time. Very interesting to think about, but it would be appropriate and for the record, satisfying if this was actually intended. We’ll see.
Linking myself to the other Anon i was wondering, what if Levi will be forced again to choose, between saving the recruits and killing the Beast Titan? Do you think he would let them to meet their fate because of the promise he made?

Well, the choices in your hypothetical scenario are connected: if the Beast Titan is eliminated, what’s left of the recruits will be saved, because Zeke is actually the last threat the SC is confronted to. Thanks to the thunderspears and Eren’s combat techniques, Reiner is easy to handle. Zeke however not only outwitted Erwin at the beginning but he can easily defeat Reiner in hand-to-hand combat. The final scene of chapter 70 showed… finger traces?

That shows Zeke is no easy opponent. If anything, Levi should preserve what’s left of his Humanity’s Strongest title and offer him a final match. By that I mean him getting his organs twisted as he has visions of Erwin.
So… a while ago during the one of my usual readthroughs, I noticed something in Chapter 50 which I’ve been meaning to talk about.
When Eren first uses the Coordinate, they are at a pretty desperate situation like Levi later says. Mikasa is hurt and can’t fight, Eren doesn’t have his 3DMG on and is pretty much done at that point, but the thing about the 3DMG is… they’re on a plains land. Sure, they can use the Titans, but that’s not the point I’m trying to make here.
They are literally in the middle of a grass field. Grass. Grass. And then… after Mikasa and Eren run away… there’s this shit right here:
….Wait a second… what the… O_o
Why are trees growing there?! What the hell?! Where tf did those come from?!?!
Okay, this is immediately linked to my theory that Titans are plants but more specifically… this flower/plant thing has been foreshadowed so much at this point, that I’m betting my money on the theory that the Source of all Organic Material is a tree/plant of some sort. Because 1) @falcon94ssy ‘s analysis, including the constant talks about bloodlines like here:
The flowers in Eren’s dream, the flowers inside the Titan in Episode 9… there are references everywhere. Titans only moving during sunlight and regenerating limbs?
Oh and 2) Isayama REALLY likes Norse mythology. It wouldn’t surprise me if the World Tree was the source of all organic material at this point.
Eren using the Coordinate, aka the direct connection to the source seems to have made those trees grow. Now this may just be scenery artwork but like I said, you don’t see small trees growing around the main characters on a pure field of fucking grass. This has been my analysis of this. Now hurry up Isayama.

Ymir Fritz and 'To you in 2000 years'
According to the Marleyan history book that Grisha’s father had at the time, Ymir Fritz made a contract with the devil 1820 years ago, and there was a great Titan war 80 years ago, when 145th King took the power of the Progenitor Titan.
That doesn’t sound right, because it would mean that there were 145 people who had the power of the Progenitor Titan (144 Fritz Kings + Ymir Fritz) in 1740 years, which is exactly 12 years per person. The power of the Progenitor Titan was at the Fritz/Reiss family the entire time, and we know that they did a succession every 13 years in the walls:
So they should have done a succession every 13 years before 145th King. If that has been the case, than it’s been approximately 2000 years since Ymir Fritz ‘made a contract with the devil’.
I don’t think there’s a simple way to show these calculations, so warning: Numbers will be shown!

Why did Ymir leave Historia behind when it could mean certain death for Ymir? Was it purely to protect her? Do you think there is a chance that the pair would be reunited again? Sorry if this has been asked before, thanks.
I’ve answered a question about her saving Reiner and Bertolt a while ago, also being tied to her leaving Historia as a consequence.
Considering of what we know about the walls and what Eren could be capable of, she probably thought of the Eldians able to threaten Marley not to approach any further unless the wanted the colossals to crush them. Peace can be made that way and leave “hope” inside the walls.
Yet Ymir’s line of thoughts was kind of… strange:

She was outright starting at Historia when she mentioned the word walls, knowing full well any bad usage of the coordinate would mean death for her. So why didn’t she help Bertolt and Reiner pry it away from careless hands such as Eren’s?
I’m lowkey thinking she was somehow hoping for Historia to take back the power, so peace would be ensured, which is weird because Ymir isn’t the kind of person who would see others as sacrificial lambs, even for the sake of peace.
Then there’s this whole letter business, something Reiner had to make sure it would come in Historia’s hands. That implies her plans have changed because something happened during these two or three months. She wrote that letter knowing Reiner and Bertolt would come back to retrieve Eren and probably knowing there was a possibility she couldn’t make it. Nevertheless she ensured Reiner and the group would rescue Historia from the future conflict, would victory be theirs.
And knowing how desperate things are getting, the possibility of Historia seeing Ymir again is as low as ever: I practically lost faith when Bertolt and Erwin died in chapter 84 to be honest.
Grisha after Zeke’s Betrayal
So before I start, we don’t quite know how old Grisha was when he and Dina were sent to the island. However, in this photo, you can clearly see that Grisha is still young and not quite as bearded as he was when Carla fell for him…. anyways.
However, we can make it out from the current timeline that we have. The year is 850 at the present time in Attack on Titan. Eren is 15 years old and Shadis met Grisha outside Wall Maria 20 years ago. That makes 830. The previous event that we know of is exactly what the picture shows: Zeke betraying his parents in the year 823. Grisha, as you can see here, is still relatively young. Now, let’s skip 7 years further.
Doesn’t quite seem like Grisha is still a young man, does it? You can cleary tell that he has grown up in other ways than growing an awesome beard. Overall, he looks more like an adult, if that’s the correct way to describe it (I’m not sure)
But now, here is what needs to be considered. We know from Ymir that turning into a mindless Titan freezes your biological clock. She spent 60 years as a Titan before eating Marcel and turning back, resuming her life in her early tweens before she entered the wall. With Grisha, as I said, you can notice the difference between when he was supposedly turned into a Titan after being betrayed by Zeke and when Shadis found him after he had supposedly just eaten a shifter. (Note: Keep in mind there are three books that Eren and the others need to read through, as well as the fact that the story will be further continued in Chapter 87 without a doubt, so there may be some things we don’t know here)
To me, this translates into Grisha having to explain some more. For instance, the fact that there’s no way that he was turned into a Titan immediately after being exposed, because when he turned back, he was much older. Also, when Shadis found him, he was still had some sort of temporary amnesia as if he had just turned back into a human not long ago (We still don’t know who he ate to do so). He couldn’t have stayed outside for years either because even as a shifter, I don’t think you can go on without eating for that long. And like I said, the possibility of him hunting and surviving on his own is low since you’d think that either the SC would have spotted him earlier or that he’d have some proper recollection of himself, which was not the case when Shadis found him.
One thing which I’m not quite sure of is how he had the photo on him which he left in the basement. Didn’t the MPs check him and throw him into prison before he was released? You can obviously see on this panel that he can remember more clearly who he is and not just his name. In fact, all he had were clothes on him (Still not quite sure how those remain intact even after losing your whole body when turning into a mindless Titan… censorship reasons maybe lmao)
My only guess is that there was something more to the part after he is betrayed. There’s simply no way that he would just be turned and boom, sent to Paradise. There is definitely more to the story before that happens, seeing as he grew older, plus like I said, he has stuff to explain in the following chapters, including the continuation of what I just mentioned as well as how to use the Coordinate, which Eren remembers him saying when he gave him the key to the Basement.
Although there is a lot more to know, it’s nice to finally be able to put some pieces together.
(tl;dr): The time between Chapter 86′s ending and Shadis finding Grisha outside is 7 Years. However, he was younger beforehand and mindless Titans freeze the age of the original Human, meaning more happened before he was sent to Paradis Island, which we will possibly know more about in Chapter 87, etc.

Something to Think About
**** BEWARE SPOILERS OUT THE ASS ****
Okay, so the much debated “To you in 2000 years.” the first things we hear are a narration of the world these people live in. Looking at that in terms of 2000 years, what if Eren travels to the future to ask for help defeating the titans. Okay so noy'all thinking the heck is this man talkibg about future and shit. Okay so this involves quite the stretch, but bear with me, Grisha is not from this time, hes from the future, our time, not only that, he is a scientist from our time. He wanders into this world in the hopes of learning about etc… He sees the world is broken in more ways then one, the plague, and the titans etc… Grisha cured this world of a plague no one else could have cured, but in Grisha’s time, it had already been cured therefore making it easy for him to reverse engineer a cure. Now back to Eren, What if along with the photograph they find something else, something that points to the creation of the titans, but the titans aren’t from this timeline, they were sent back after they failed in what they were created for. Whats that you ask, a weapon of war. Think about it, they dont need to eat, their main focus seems to be that of devouring, more like killing humans, heck once their stomachs are full they just yak out a human spitball and get back to it. Its the perfect killing machine. But of course just like any other military invention, it backfired. Now you’re probably wondering about Zeke, and who he is, what if zeke was the example of how these titans were supposed to turn out, smart, and capable of thought, but not everyone turns out like that. Now imagine zeke finds out that someone came from the future, where hes from, remember when he says “Thats a curve ball,” yeah, motherfucker chucked that shit like a damn baseball. But base ball doesnt exist in that time. So Zeke finds out about Grisha and decides, time to go back to the future to get some revenge, so he sends my man Armored and colossal to find Grisha, but Grisha is smart you see, he figures out that they after him, so he gets Eren to eat him. Since Eren had lost his mind when he transforms most of those memories were lost to him, memories that return over the course of time. Knowing what grisha must of done because of Erens obvious new powers, the new plan was to capture Eren, but that dont work out because of Erens hatred of titans.
I know there are a lot of hole, and this takes a major leap, but its still interesting, and im still working on this. I am also using ideas from http://snktheories.blogspot.ca/2014/08/attack-on-titan-shingeki-no-kyojin.html. Let me know what you folk think, even if you think im stupid XD

what if in the basement they find out that Grisha originally came from outisde the walls and he wrote “ People outside the walls have been living a modern life . driving cars , dropping their children to school , working their jobs at a restaurant , living in apartments and houses ,and nobody knows what a ’ Titan ’ is ?
