As Richard nears the end of his run as Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar, here are a few images captured at stage door appearances on July 27 and July 30. Photos used with kind permission of Grace E Rozger, who posted a review on IG.

It reads in part, "[Richard] absolutely killed it! He embodies that sense of power and pomp, and that teensy bit of mania, so freaking well. I like to think his number is akin to a summer thunderstorm; big and loud and bold, a bit over the top, over far too quickly for your liking, and leaving you wanting more."

When the War was ended and many roads lay open before them, Legolas Greenleaf and Gimli son of Glóin came once more beneath the eaves of Fangorn. There, in the deep hush of that ancient wood, the Dwarf—mindful of old displeasures—set his axe behind him and lifted up empty hands, as if to make plain his peace before the trees. But Legolas, untroubled, turned and beckoned him on; and in the pale shafts of sunlight, amid mist and wandering lights, the two companions passed together into a forest more ancient than the memory of their strife.
