i got a job interview in the city so hopefully that goes well so i dont havw to move back 2 fl*rida

ngl using tumblr often as a teen and then not using it often for years and returning as an adult is so funny. i remember blindly agreeing w a ton of posts but now theyre just plain stupid...

ill be honest... being around so many white people all the time has been giving me genuine brain damage

#its not even like the white friends and peers i know specifically are malicious at all #in fact theyre almost all very kind and good people but its just sooo inherently different #than hanging out w poc #i hung out with 90% poc in the beginning of my college experience and so many of them have dropped out or graduated early and its :(#there are literally only 2 poc #including me #in the circle of ppl i know rn #but its ok bc next sem im in a project abt asian american experiences :)

@mewwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeah! and i feel like its a lot easier for people to share online instead of going to their friends for help bc that can be hard but i see it w a lot of ppl on whatever platform, twitter or tumblr, etc. just broadcast so much about their personal lives and it feels weird to me now.

and thank U. i feel like it was hard to learn to open up to friends but its been so rewarding and making my life a lot less lonely and a lot more fullfilling

#i do admit sometimes i dump photos on instagram or post on here but i try to avoid it and i havent overshared like i used to #in a long time i feel like and my life has gotten so much better for it
