Two weeks sober as of today.

I recognize this is the most dangerous time, its so easy to think i’ve changed and can use in moderation. Last time i tried to sober up i had the bright idea i could just get high once a week instead, obviously that dumb idea didnt work. Im an addict and i do absolutely nothing in moderation.

It was a lot easier staying sober in a state where weed wasn’t legal. Its so easy and honestly cheap to get high now days, i can have drugs delivered right to my house. Not that i need to, hell i still have almost two ounces of weed just a few feet away. It would be so easy to relapse, theres no safeties between me and the drugs. If i feel weak and give in, it would take me less than five minutes to break sobriety.

Sorry, Im rambling. Honestly im writing all this more to talk it out with myself, to try and hold myself accountable. At the end of the day, Im the only one who cares if i stay sober.
