Yanderedev Controversy & Evidence Masterpost

His old internet persona was “evaxephon” - feel free to google what he did before he became yanderedev because it is fucked up.

Characters he sells merch of are just bought unity store assets (he has mentioned this himself before, but a lot of fans don’t know, so I’ve put it here). 1 2 3 4

He treats his volunteers badly (this is why most assets are very inconsistent - people need replacing constantly after having enough) 1 2 3 4 5

Spends an unholy amount of time on “damage control” (ie he personally approves the posts and even comments that go up on reddit, youtube, wordpress), which when added up with his streaming hours and effort spent on making rant videos, leaves very little time to be put towards the game. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10

Claims his game is 18+ and complains about young fans and young people in general, but hasn’t age restricted his videos and lets kids into his server. 1 2 3 4

Is still openly perverted in his discord server (where there are children as young as 10 present) 1 2

His income comes from donations, merch, youtube, twitch, and patreon - he claims he keeps $3500 montly to himself, which he gets from patreon alone. Yet he isn’t spending any of this leftover money on the game (and has asked for a kickstarter anyway).

(I can understand keeping stuff like twitch and youtube revenue, even if donating fans may mistakenly think it’s going towards game development. But game donations? Also, he has mentioned here where some (but not all) of the game’s patreon money has gone, and claims to be saving a large amount. If this is the case, can’t he prove it with a bank screenshot? And why the kickstarter?)

What he cares about is himself, his money and his reputation - more than he does about the game 1 2 3

He doesn’t actually understand a lot about coding, most likely due to refusing to learn new things - explanation from a programmer

Refers to facts people are using to call him out “propaganda”; then comparing fans who don’t listen to these facts to superman whilst slandering those who do; as if that isn’t a form of propaganda in itself, a manipulative tactic.

Portraying all the “hate” stemming from the lack of Osana, his past, and the slow development, when the issue is much more complex and involves many things he as done wrong - more manipulation.

Repeatedly says “I feel bad” and talking about how the controversy is affecting him emotionally; rather than actually addressing any of the issues that are sparking the controversy; or displaying concern, interest or understanding for how other people might feel; and turning situations around so they are about him - which is another manipulative trait. 1 2 3 4

(Of course he would feel bad after it all, that’s totally ok and understandable. What isn’t ok is using that as an excuse for your actions, and then keep acting that way.)

His reason for adding the option for a female senpai is actually to cater to the straight male lesbian-fetishizing audience

Although people are able to grow and change and this may not be very relevant now, he’s been a lot less discrete about his nastiness and grossness in the past - something to consider. 1 2 3 4

Hey, what's wrong with Koumi, exactly? I mean, I feel there's something wrong with them and seem posts about people hating them but I just... Can't put my finger on what it is? (Pardon my english, I've just woken up, english isn't my first language and I'm way too tired to revise anything I've just wrote)

i got confused for a second cus i assumed this was an ask for any entirely different blog - anyway, it’s been a while, but Koumi draws torture por/n and (iirc) non-con, of both Yandere Simulator characters and characters from other places. 

I think there were a few pieces that went around of Ayano and a teacher or male rival (can’t remember which) that was most definitely a mix of both of the above.
