“Ruby..”
Weiss let out a soft huff as her hands reached out to take hold of hers, giving them a reassuring squeeze. Ruby’s hands always seemed warm to her.. much more compared to her own.
“.. Listen, I was only teasing.”
“At long last, I’ve returned in hopes Ruby hasn’t burned anything to the ground.”

Sighing, shaking her head after she was kissed again. “Weiss…You’re just too much.” A small laugh from her, then hugging the other. “…I missed you..”
“I knew it..” She hummed, leaning up on her tip toes. Obviously cheerful in her emotions. Leave it to Ruby to bring such a side out of her. “I missed you too, you know.. it was quiet without you around.”

“I-IT’S FINE! R-really! You don’t have to…..” Great. She’s a completely blushing mess, Weiss.
“You’re right, I don’t.. Buuut..” Weiss cracked a grin, swooping in and planting ANOTHER one on her lips.
“.. I wanted to anyways.”

The kiss was a major surprise to her. When the other pulled away, she was at a complete loss of words.
“I….Weiss….Y-You didn’t have to..Really…”
“What? The kiss? Oh no, that’s not your surprise.”
She giggled, amused at the flustered expression on her teammates face. Just a small kiss and Ruby was a blushing mess.
“But if you’d like, you’re more than welcome to have another.~”

“I…I’m glad that you like it, Weiss….I…I wasn’t sure what to give you, but I didn’t want it to be something ordinary….It’s one of a kind…and really pricey…but…..It’s worth it…”
So it WAS expensive, Ruby did more than just confirm her suspicions. Weiss felt guilty that she didn’t have anything prepared for her in return.. at the moment at least.
“Well.. How about I thank you properly then?”
She insisted, leaning in to press a soft little kiss against her lips, smiling faintly as she pulled away. Ice blue hues admiring Ruby’s features.

She was shocked to see what was in store for her, and delicately, Weiss plucked the gem from it’s box and let it rest in her palm. The symbolism it held.. overwhelmed her emotions, and her eyes began to swell with tears. She quickly brushed them off with her sleeve.
“This is wonderful, thank you..”
"W-Weiss........I brought you something from my trip..."
“Ruby?” Weiss turned her gaze to the woman, flashing her a welcoming smile to show her presence was appreciated. “You brought me a present..? Ruby.. You didn’t have to..”
