That woman has set us back YEARS. YEARS. And whose money is she using to do it? People who continually support her and her sorry excuse for a book series.

Just wanna jump off of this post to remind y'all of three things.

Anti trans legislation was recently passed in the UK as a direct result of JK's funding

She has stated that she takes any interaction with the Harry Potter franchise as an endorsement of her views.

The only reason the new series exists is because JK threw a hissy fit over Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and I believe Rupert Grint all disavowed her transphobia, so she remade the series.

Even pirating the show expresses interest in the show for the company (and jkr)

Especially in the first weeks/months viewership (including piracy!) numbers and (online) buzz about the show matters. Those matter when studios etc. decide whether to greenlight new seasons for the show, or other projects in the franchise, or not. And new seasons and projects mean more money to jkr.

So can we *please* just completely ignore the new series.
