Stop ā¦
1. Hanging out with people who donāt appreciate you.
2. Running from your problems and hiding from the truth
3. Acting as a door mat and putting yourself last.
4. Longing for the past and the way things used to be.
5. Beating yourself up for the stupid things you did
6. Rejecting new relationships because you have been hurt.
7. Holding onto grudges that only drag you down.
8. Trying to be perfect ā as thatās just a waste of time.
Self-reminder: Remember, the reason to persist is so that your parents can take photo with you in graduation robe!!!
So many worries and stress š¤¦š»āāļø
Feeling disappointed with my own procrastination but did nothing to change it anyway
Need to start doing my final year project during semester break but I just keep procrastinatingš
Living such an unhealthy life sigh
Blur
Tomorrow is the beginning of a new semester. To be honest, I really donāt feel the mood of it. Iām not getting the study vibes for some unknown reason, and there are so many worries for the new semester especially that I am gonna start doing my final year project 1 this semester. With so many unknown aspects, Iām really worried whether Iāll be fine this semester. I know itās gonna be hella tough on me but yeah pray for the best. Feeling extremely alone tbh
The reluctance of going back to uni... perhaps it's because house is my comfort zone but knowing you are going to somewhere quite secluded with so many cons won't make you feel good... sigh... need time skip please
Never realise the importance of it until you need it

Growth is painful. Change is painful. But nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you donāt belong.

Trauma permanently changes us. This is the frightening truth about betrayal. You never really get over it. At best, you grieve and make some kind of peace with it. But a major life disruption leaves a new normal behind. Thereās no going back to who you were before.

š¼how to restart learning a languageš¼
iāve recently gone through a language break, taking 5 months out to reassess my future. i really want to get back to learning Japanese, so here are my tips for restarting that language you might have been neglecting!
reassess your goals. its likely that if youāve taken an extended break, your life has changed a little and there may be some new priorities taking over. reassess what you want to get out of restarting your language journey so itās easier to plan around your day
make small targets that can be reached easily. for a short while, youāll have to work hard to get your head back into the swing of learning a language. making small goals can really up your productivity because you wont be discouraged by big expectations at first!
slowly immerse yourself. immersion is widely known as a good supplement to your language learning. while youāre in the early stages of relearning a language, itās really fun to start rewatching that subbed anime you lost track of, or listen to that spanish band you loved so much. it will help your brain get back āintoā the language, and youāll have fun along the way!
revisit your notebooks. if youāre anything like me, you have a ton of notebooks and stacks of random note paper lying around untouched since you dropped out of your language. do your best to collect them up, sort through the useful stuff and then, get a blank notebook and rewrite all of your notes. your brain wont have forgotten everything but starting a new notebook will give you incentive to learn, as well as solidifying the information you already learnt!
take it slow. your brain is a muscle that needs exercising. if you havent been using your language brain for a while, donāt try and run a marathon without training first! thereās no rush. your journey is yours, and yours alone. take it as slow as you need to to start learning your language again and get back into the studying swing of things
š¼good luck on revisiting your language journey!š¼
The thing I'm most afraid of is me. Of not knowing what I'm going to do. Of not knowing what I'm doing right now.
