So I’m trying to be more active on my tumblr, but lately, there hasn’t been any kdramas that caught my eyes. So as of now I’m venturing to other counties drama. Even though "Jishaku Otoko” is only a special, I really like this drama xD! It’s so funny, yet fluffy! I really wish it was a drama series than just a special ^^; Other than this, I’m currently catching up on jdrama “Date” and cdrama “Nirvana in Fire.” And slowly watching “5-ji kara 9-ji made” (waiting for it to finish airing). Hope to make more gifs!~
I really have been in the wuxia, period drama mood these days xD And so I end up watching and finishing up Strange Hero Yi Zhi Mei. and like always, since the ending left me wanting more, i'm gonna rant and complain xD
(okay, so enough of my feeling of it's ending, now to the drama as a whole)
This drama was a bit different from what i'm use to. I mean, there was a lot of action going on, even the acting and camera angle were rather in a really super hero kinda way (sorry, i'm not sure how to explain this, it kinda remind me of power ranger but with better acting). It also felt kinda rushed in the beginning ^^; maybe it's just me.
However, I do like the fact that they deal with each character's problem, and every time a mission ended, you know that it ended because of the anime scene. And i loved our main 4 characters A LOT! San Niang wasn't a weak, useless girl (unlike Ruyi =__=), which made me love her~ but i got to say that my favorite has got to me Meimei xD he was adorable!!~
Though i really did look forward to any Li Ge Xiao and San Niang's signs, only wish there were more =w=
Anyways, overall, i liked it, and will definitely rewatch it again in the future~ I'm not sure if i would recommend it though, since you have to adjust your mind into a different type of setting and camera angle. Still feeling wuxia/period drama-ic, so i might watch something else xD (seriously awaiting Incisive Great Teacher and Bu Bu Jing Qing)
Liu Shi Shi and Wallace Huo should definitely do another drama together xD! They were so cute together!! I seriously thought Wallace was sooo hawt xDD! lol!~ though i haven't actually tried out any of his other dramas, but i really do hope the two have a chance to starred in a drama as a pair together in the future!~ I think i have become a fan of Liu Shi Shi xD!~ (I usually choose my dramas depending on the actress ^^; )
As of now i'm currently watching Let's Eat (waiting weekly), and Legend of the Condor Heroes. Though someone recommended me to watch Chinese Paladin 3. (which i know that Liu Shi Shi and Wallace Huo are in there, but not as a couple ;__; also, i read that Liu Shi Shi's character dies...and that's not cool T^T, so i'm still debating...)
This has got to be my favorite scene out of the whole drama xD! it was the reason i got hooked to this drama! LOL! I mean, just look at Lan Ling Wang xD! he's freaken out, and the way Xue Wu stared at his back was just too funny! xD Seriously loved her "It's such a beautiful scene, I couldn't help myself!"
...wah, i haven't been updating this side-blog at all...=__= anyways, i finished A LOT of dramas since I last left off xD but just haven't update anything...from what i remember, I watched and finished Master's Sun, Bu bu Jing Xin, Nobunaga no chef ... i feel like i watched more, but i can't really think about it right now. But as much as I finish some, there were many i couldn't finish...Anyways, somehow, i manage to finish Prince of Lan Ling and gonna rant about it ;__;
WARNING SPOILERS!! and i mean straight out spoilers, cause i need to let them out.
The drama is actually a period drama, despite the inaccurate, BUT beautiful, modernize wardrobe~<3<3 (seriously, one of the main reason why i watched this drama was because of the beautiful clothing and armors~)...at one point, i seriously wanted to draw them out! The clothes is just so beautiful!~ combining modern with ancient is pure genius (*w*)!

Okay, so the drama started out AWESOME!! i seriously liked the beginning of this drama and how it progressed~ it was the type of drama that pulled you in... and the comedy and romance it had at the beginning was just heart throbbing xD
but with 46 episodes....let just say that i'm not the type who would actually watch 46 episodes thoroughly, especially since i'm the type who starts a drama and then usually give up half way when i feel like since a problem ended, it should be a good thing to end it there. Unfortunately, my mom started watching the drama with me, and before i knew it, i was watching it with my mom. I couldn't watch it without her and she definitely made me turn it on for her. So i ended up watching the whole thing without skipping...I'm not saying that the drama was bad that i couldn't stand it, i actually liked it A LOT, it just when i feel like its happy, i like to end it like that, leaving the ending unknown, but now that i finished it... ;__; i feel empty...(if it was just me watching it, i would had stopped it around episode 20ish? when 4th prince and Xue Wu got married cause i can't stand dramas, especially when the second girl is such a lying dirty B*TCH!!!!!!), i mean, everybody seem to had died at the end ;__; first, the beloved Xiao Dong character made me cry so hard, then the two elder characters, even the main girl and the second guy T^T. At the end, we're left with our main guy and his son, 5th prince and the maid that he married...*sigh*... and i couldn't feel sorry for the b*tch nor the Crown Prince. I mean, i felt a teeny weeny bit sympathy toward Crown Prince, but Zhang Er was delusional to begin with, she blamed her problem at everybody but herself!
Seriously... when she was trying to come between the 4th prince and Xue Wu, i don't know how many time i wanted to punch someone and how many time i wanted to just fast forward, i ended up punching my own chest... cause it was suffering... it was to the point that i started rooting for second guy to show up and swept her away, luckily that didn't happen, seeing that toward the end when something kinda like that happened, second guy's own wife was...scary jealous...
As much as i love 4th prince and Xue Wu, i also loved Yuwen Yong (our second guy) so much~ XD if only this drama was about a girl changing an evil guy into a nice guy, then i would had rooted for them, lol xD~ but sadly, it was about a girl who's trying to protect the man that she admired and loved. And at the end, she did that, she was able to protect him to the very end, just what this whole drama was about.
Anyways, lets talk about characters~~
Yang Xue Wu is our main girl and she was... a great, nice person, but too nice that it can be annoying. I mean, there were many thing that could had been avoided if it wasn't for her acting up, etc. Then again, if she didn't act up, many things wouldn't had change, like the way Yuwen Yong behaved. If it wasn't for her believing in their friendship so much, he wouldn't had change from his vicious way to his true self, etc. Unfortunately, her kindness didn't even touch Zhang Er =__= Overall, I guess I liked her. At least she wasn't hypocritically nice, where she's nice to one person but not to another, she was nice to everyone and that make her true and pure, like she was described.
4th prince/ Gao Chang Gong/ Prince of Lan Ling is our main guy and i seriously loved him so much! I loved the way he acted, his little cute gesture and smile and kyyaaah~ he was just so cute!~ especially when he's trying to cheer up Xue Wu with his own childish acting TwT...the only part when i hated him so so, SOOOO much was when Zhang Er tricked him. *ugh* i understand, it wasn't his fault, but over and over again, he believed that b*tch and defended her, so i was freaken happy when he finally figure it out (a bit slow, that's for sure). But after that, i loved him again!~ xD
Yuwen Yong/ Zhou Emperor is our second guy and i seriously thought he was kinda cute xD Especially when he first met our main girl and acted mean to her, ignoring her. Then i hated him, then i loved him~ His love was true and i thought it was so cute when he made his soldier draw the main girl for him xD I seriously didn't want him to die...but he had to follow history...*sigh*
Other than the main three, i also love George Hu's character xD, lol. Actually i loved all the characters except Zhang Er and the crown prince and all the other evil characters that remain evil until they died...
Overall, i liked this drama, though i feel empty at the end of it and wished that i should had stopped after they got married, toward the end, i did anticipated what would happen, but knowing the end...i don't think i can watch it a second time ;__; maybe in the future, i'll rewatch it again, but to the marry part only this time *still feeling sad and empty*
Because of this drama, i seriously started loving Feng Shao Feng xD i mean, i saw him in Gong before and thought he was adorable!~ but because i couldn't stand the main girl in it, i wasn't able to finish the drama ;__; i'm thinking of trying to rewatch it, since it is base after my all time favorite shojo Hana Yori Dango but with a period setting, but lets see...
As of this moment, I'm watching Hayate the Combat Butler with George Hu and Park Shin Hye, it's a bit silly, but i like it~ lol and Let's Eat, other than those two, i'm also waiting weekly for We Got Married cause i'm loving the Jung Jung couples xD!~ i'm also feeling cdrama-ic, so looking for another wuxia or period drama, but still looking xD
Aaaauuuggghhh!!!! Ugh!! I just wanna get it out of my system!! Oh how I hate the drama!! ;__; I didn’t wanna hate 4th prince, but omg!! Seriously! How could you not believe xue wu??!! When you gave a whole freaken speech about her not trusting you, YOU DIDN’T FREAKEN TRUST HER!!! omo, that scene, I had to punch my chest from all the anger and emotion! This wasn’t necessary, if they just stayed at the manor, everything would had been solved and in an awesome IN YOUR FACE manner too…but…*SIGH*!!!!
Seeing this, i wonder if there's going to be a love triangle? XD i hope so~ both way, i love both the guys (though Hongo a teeny bit more cause i knew him longer ^^; ) Miori's so pretty with her long hair XD
Can't wait until Dec. 4 (and i'm pretty sure i have to wait longer than that =^= since i'm almost positive that it's mobile phone drama...)

I'm actually really, REALLY excited for this XD! I started loving Miori, i already love, LOVE Hongo and Seungri is definitely adorable so i can't wait for this!~
