              { 扇 } “Hello, everyone! It’s been a long time since I was here last, hasn’t it?”

     You’re sitting in a train, waiting to arrive at the newest village you decided on moving to. Ah— you can’t wait to see the peaceful village, living with nice people &&. building up this village with the help of the mayor &&. others. You can work on anything you want, fund so many project, request new projects &&. so much more, doesn’t that sound wonderful ?? What will await you in your new village life..? 

     ‘ DING DONG !! Attention passengers, we are about to arriving at Sakuramura, Please take all you stuff and get ready to leave, we’ll arrive at Sakura Station shortly !! ’ you hear the speakers, and grab all of your briefcases, jackets &&. whatever else you brought along. Soon enough you step out of the train &&. the gate—

                                       “ Welcome to Sakuramura !! ”

     You hear a high-pitched voice say, as soon as you exit the station. You look around to see… A golden colored like dog, in formal clothes.

     ‘ You must be the new villager !! Welcome to the village. ’ she says, in a cheerful tone ‘ My name is Isabelle, I’m the MAYOR of this town, so seeing you makes me very happy. ’

     The rain pours down your window. It’s almost midnight, and you sit there, staring at your TV. There was nothing good on, so you turned it off. You think nothing of the time, when suddenly the clock strikes midnight, and your TV turns on all by itself. On the TV, there is nothing but fog. Suddenly, a great force sucks you right into your TV! You fall, and fall, and fall, until you eventually hit the ground. Once you recover from the shock, you notice a monitor turn on, showing off a bear in a gaudy outfit staring directly at you. He grins evilly.

          { 💔 } “Hm. It’s so nice to hear you finally acknowledge it.” Koharu lifted Rise’s head up with a single finger, making the girl look directly at her.

“That’s right. You belong to me. Me, and your father. You can make all the friends you want, you can try to run away as much as you’d like, but you can’t change that fact. You are mine, and mine to keep. Never forget that, Rise.”

With that, she gently let the girl’s head fall back down to its original position of looking at the floor, laughing evilly as she looked at the broken girl before her.

Well, that went about as Yosuke expected.  Nothing ventured, nothing gained though.  However, he had hoped for a slightly less brutal rejection.  

“You could’ve just said no.”

            { 扇 } “I could’ve, but where’s the fun in that?” Yukiko said with her trademark laugh. The look on Yosuke’s face was truly priceless.

“The fun is not completely crushing my heart.”

Clutching the air around his heart, the melodramatics should make it clear he isn’t too broken about this.  However, Yukiko probably suspected he wouldn’t be.

“But letting me borrow your notes from class might soothe the pain.”  

[snowyashes]

           { 扇 } “Hmmm... Well, in that case.” Yukiko looked to be considering this for a brief second, turning away from Yosuke as she thought. Eventually, she seemed to come to a decision, and smiled before she turned around to face the boy again.

“You had better get some ice cream for tonight. I hear that’s a good way to deal with emotional pain.”
