I have aphantasia (can’t form images in my head) so picturing scenes in my head is really difficult for me. It’s easier with media like The W/itcher or Marvel, just as an example, because those actors are in EVERYTHING. I have a better mental compilation of what their face looks like at different angles I guess.

Anyways, I don’t have that with HR since the actors are all pretty new and the show is so short. Your last three drawings of them have been absolutely adorable, your art style, the positioning, the prompts you chose. They’re literally all perfect and now I have actual images of scenes that I can go back to in my head.

If you made it through my oversharing and you’d be so inspired, the trope that my brain has been fixated on for a while now is someone holding a tissue for another person. I think this is so holla/nov coded, especially with D/s vibes I/lya holding a tissue up for a foggy-headed S/hane.

Maybe he’s too tired to do it himself but sneezing uncovered would actually make his little rule following brain combust so I/lya makes the executive decision that he’s the captain now. Maybe he’s too blissed out after I/lya “makes him feel better” when he’s sick. Maybe I/lya is just being I/lya and intentionally doing it to embarrass Shane, if you’re a honeymoon rhinitis h/c person.

Genuinely anything just I/lya holding tissues for S/hane 🫠

someone on a long-haul flight/bus/train ride who’s coming down with a cold, the illness settling in and symptoms getting gradually worse as their journey goes on. no access to medicine or extra blankets or anything to help make them more comfortable, just pure misery for hours.

add a caretaker who’s worried sick and frustrated that they can’t do much to help besides holding their sickie close to try and keep them warm. feeling their forehead every 30 minutes to gauge if their temperature has risen, not that they can do anything about it. letting them sneeze over and over into their shirt, serving as their tissue out of necessity when they inevitably run out.

Thinking about someone with a horrendous head cold getting arrested for something stupid, getting cuffed and thrown into the back of a police car. They’re not worried about the arrest or the charge, but they are worried about their nose. It’s running onto their upper lip and they can feel some very strong sneezes brewing in their chapped nose. The cop is ignoring their plea for tissues and without access to their hands this arrest is about to get a whole lot messier.

Someone who is sick and very pregnant doing some shopping, one arm loaded up with bags of gifts. They feel a sneeze coming on and they know they have some tissues in their pocket, but with one arm holding their shopping and the other hand bracing their bump, they aren’t able to get them out and have no choice but to sneeze uncovered.

Cue their partner or shopping companion realizing their dilemma and rushing to take their bags so that they can continue supporting their belly while they get the tissues out to sneeze into.

She appears on a Teams meeting (she's not coming in, you don't want to catch this) visibly dripping with cold, no makeup, fluffy slippers on, tissue stuffed up her bright-red nose, messy hair, seemingly taking a perverse pride in how feeble and snotty she sounds and not bothering to mute the mic every time she sneezes, which she does often, completely unrestrained into a big handful of tissues.

A thought that is plaguing (ha) my mind, WARNING THIS IS FOR THE GROSS NASTY CLUB so if you’re not into mess or contagion then avert your eyes

Thinking about some like sci-fi or fantasy or alt realty where there’s a cold like affliction but it purposefully is like more contagious and compels the person to be more contagious. Like sneezing becomes much more messy, and catches them off guard more so it’s harder to cover. It’s like a borderline sentient virus in the way that its primary instinct is to make someone suffer and pass on that suffering.

Idk the thought of someone with a cold in a pharmacy aisle sneezing like five times and not being able to catch any of them while it being just aggressively messy to clean up is taking over my mind.
