The iconic Santa Monica Pier on a beautiful February day.
It was a beautiful day in Newport yesterday. #beach #SoCal
Dana Point Harbor
I spent 2014 MLK day in Washington DC. It was sunny, relatively warm (50's), loud and packed with people. That night a cold storm came through and the next morning it was a completely different place. Cold, quiet and completely void of people. One of my favorite pictures for 2014.

The rainbow eucalyptus is sure to brighten anyone's mood.
If you find yourself hungry in Waimanalo (east side of Oahu), check out Ono Steaks and Shrimp Shack. It's a mom and pop place with great food.
The endangered `Alae `ula in Waimea Valley.
Really enjoyed watching and photographing the playful spinner dolphins.
This brought back some great memories of my childhood, sugaring and eating hot malasadas. Needless to say, driving by this everyday while on Oahu was not good for my waistline.

The flying fish (malolo) of Hawaii.
I recently returned from a week on Oahu. Hawaii has a great non-partisan initiative to increase civic engagement including registering and educating voters. http://www.novotenogrumble.org/
The traffic coming from SDCC was horrible, the sunset was not.
