A spirit guide is a being assigned to you before birth, to help guide you along your journey on Earth. They are someone you have a soul contract with. Everyone has at least one solid guide throughout each life, assigned to you from birth until death. Some guides have been with you through various lifetimes and others come for specific purposes, like to help you in your career or find romance.
Spirit Guides are always watching over and awaiting for contact to be made. They always send help; through hunches, dreams, synchronicities, making you late so you run into someone you need to talk to, etc.
Who are your Spirit Guides?
Spirit guides have lived many lifetimes on Earth, and/or developed/have deep knowledge of the Universal Laws. Your spirit guides are your ancestors, beings from past life connections, past loved ones and pets, extraterrestrials. Also ascended masters, angels and archangels, but they are of higher frequency than your ancestors or beings from past/current life connections, as those beings are still in the cycle of death and rebirth and angels and ascended masters are not.
Can you have the same Spirit Guide as someone else?
Yes. A famous guide who is also an Archangel is Archangel Michael. He is known as the protector, and can be called on in times when strength or courage is needed. I always call to him when I need help opening a jar of spaghetti sauce. The thing is, you have to invite these beings in or they can only do so much to help. They can’t interfere with our free will.
Guides are there to give you information, help you work through blockages and emotions, and make sure you’re staying on track to fulfil things in your soul contract, they are not there to tell you what to do. They can’t make the choice for you, they can only advise you. Similarly, when a student needs assistant from a teacher, the teacher gives them the tools and knowledge to come up with the answer themselves, they don’t give the result away.

Is it in my best interest to attend the event tonight?

How to get an answer from your Guides:
Internal: gut feelings, images/words flashing in your minds eye, inner knowing
External: Tarot reading/other forms of divination, song/show/movie that has a synchronicity within, scrolling on Instagram and seeing a post with your answer
⭐ Either technique involves one to be grounded to receive clear messages. Messages may take some time to come in, they can be immediate or trickle in throughout the day. The most important point of focus for your energy is your intention. This is like lighting the bat signal in the air, your guides will see you are in need and contact you.
Do Spirit Guides get mad at us for making the “wrong” decisions?
No. These beings are unconditionally loving and know that we are here to work through lessons, they do not judge us for repeating patterns or partaking in vices. They also exist outside of time, so they view things differently than we do. Even if we dismiss their help, they will still be there.
