GMMTV has terminated Justin Moir’s contract after he’s been reposting misogynistic, homophobic and transphobia posts on tiktok.

I think anyone that’s been defending him because he’s young you’re a bit despicable. Yes, he’s like what 15? 16? he’s young and he can and needs to learn and grow and mature, and we can give him that time because we know that young boys are the target audience for incel posts like that, but that does not mean he needs to be given a platform where he is surrounded by women and queer people while he still has this harmful, damaging mindset. Let him go off and learn from this, but away from this industry.

Yo, GMMTV needs to start doing mandatory social media screens when hiring or run educational courses, because after seeing what Justin Moir has been reposting when he is still a child is terrifying. The boy is FIFTEEN YEARS OLD and apparently these are things he’s been reposting for the last few years? Like, he’s about to lose his career before it starts because people are not happy - and rightly so.

Putting someone who reposts misogynistic rhetoric, homophobia, transphobia in a BL, even as a support is just…what.

No doubt there will be a half-assed apology from GMMTV and he’ll either be let go (since it’s early days) or he’ll be kept in the background for a while (like Pawin).

Tbh I am both angry and sad about this. He’s just a child and has been brainwashed into this hateful way of thinking and I hope he made to do the work to deprogram this. But then at the same time I’m also angry that this is still a thing, a common thing, and that GMMTV have done nothing but make him delete the content.

Did he never stop to think that people would find out? Why even sign with the biggest BL company in your country if you don’t support the values? Again, I know he’s a kid but…ugh. Someone else could probably write this better. I’m just pissed off.

All these tourists having a great time at the World Cup isn't surprising b/c the first rule of America is that this place rules if you have money to blow and it's a nightmare if you don't. the thing about mr. kill is that it's not even edited bromancily. with high school frenemy and like the half of wu that i watched, there was at least a layer of plausible deniability that the editing gave the show to make the re-emerging/budding friendship vibe more believable.

the writers and editors for mr. kill do NOT give a fuck. they did not get the friendship memo, they had files sent to them by gmmtv and immediately assumed it was something gay and they're editing it as such. the entire scene with them looking back at each other as they walk away after their first meeting? gay. he drew a heart too? gay. it's good to see you smile? gay. every time phat looked at kaye during the stakeouts? gay. kaye storing the picture of him and phat in his diary? gay. phat coming across said picture while breaking into his house and smiling? gay. kaye falling straight into phat's arms after being beaten up and the extended pause on that entire scene? gay. i didn't put anything in this except my good wishes? gay. bonus scene where they walk past each other in the store after phat follows kaye and decides to buy the cat food? so immensely gay i think i burst a nerve.

this isn't even counting the baby lesbians that are practicing what is some definitely unethical journalism and flirting on the clock. wtf is going on with this show.
