what about being a hockey mom is hard the kids do all the work

I’m trying not to be mad at this. But I watched my mom struggle for years because she had to make sure my brother was at every hockey practice and conditioning session, all while making sure I could get to volleyball practice, all the way across town on the same nights. Somehow she managed to make sure we always had our homework done and had our gear and made sure we ate something other than fast food. 

When it came to the weekends, she always made sure we had everything we needed before a roadie, because during the season we spent almost every weekend for fifteen years on the road. 

My mom was constantly putting my brother and I’s sports ahead of herself. My mom missed out on so much because of hockey. So don’t you dare undermine hockey moms, or sports moms in general. Because without them, those guys would be nothing.

Also it’s expensive as hell! Not all families have the same financial situation. Sometimes mom has to be caregiver and salary earner. Every family is different!
