      CASTLE-BY-WATER - SEAT OF HOUSE BYWATER

   Seated on a small peninsula jutting into Blackwater Bay, the holdfast of the minor house Bywater serves mostly as a safe haven should a storm brew up in the Blackwater, forcing trading or naval ships to dock until it clears. The castle is surrounded on all sides by water, as high tide floods a good portion of the land. 

   Their economy relies heavily on any sort of sea-trade as well as fishing and hunting for other edible or decorative sea life. It’s largest source of income is black salt, apparently harvested under the cover of darkness near Dragonstone. Not that anyone outside the actual harvesters or the Bywater family knows about.
