hey so lots on my dash rn. what actually happened? as in: did Oscar say anything snarky or did lando? was it one of their faults of being to close? just now i mean. Idk what images are actual things or made up/not from this race.

tbh in my opinion it was a regrettable but normal racing incident. lando had a relatively sluggish start, so oscar was side by side, and then oscar was trying a move that he was entitled to do, and while a similar move has caused contact in the past, i think he would've made it cleanly if he hadn't been hit by hulkenberg who had been hit by alonso. there wasn't any snarky radio played (on the broadcast anyway, i haven't seen it from either driver's pov cam to hear all that was said), other than maybe lando choosing to say that 'someone' hit him even if he knew it was oscar. i think it was frustratingly messy, but turn 1 at this track can turn into a tangle so easily for a lot of reasons. i don't think it's either of their fault, like it happens, it sucked, and we move on!
