My last three sources.
For my final three sources I chose some psychological studies in journal entries from Lewis University's database, so I don't think they'll work for a link. But any way, two of these sources showed social media as a good thing and one of them showed it as bad. The two that showed it as good were about how social media sites can serve as a group therapy kind of atmosphere where everyone is dealing with similar issues and they try to work them out together. The one that said it was bad had a study that proved multitasking with different forms of media gives one more anxiety and feelings of depression.
Here are the links to the articles anyway, just in case it works:

Healthy connections: online social networks and their potential for peer support.
I believe that young girls need to learn how to perceive and react to social media, pop culture and entertainment in a more positive way. This isn't taught in schools, and I highly doubt that our parents can honestly understand social media to unders...
While this article is short, it is straight to the point. It is about how people, specifically young girls, are made more insecure so that others can make money off of their insecurities. And in this day and age with all of this media, it's hard not to see it almost 24/7.
Are social networking sites good for society?
This is the source that I desperately needed. My paper is about there being no answer to this question because of all the gray areas and the two different sides of it. This gives all sorts of pros and cons about social media, and there are a couple that refer to mental health, which is just what I needed.
Since one of my main points is about body image, I figured I needed a pretty professional source. This website offers good, factual information about body image and social media.
I'm going to be quoting from this source quite a lot for my paper. It has plenty of quotes from people about their opinions of social media. One quote that kind of sums up my point of social media being good and bad for people:
“The whole “Pro-Ana” community scares me, and I have written numerous emails to website servers asking if they could take down a site that I felt was dangerous. On the other hand, I have utilized pro-recovery sites to get me through some rough days. These sites offer hope, give inspiring quotes, and create a warm and supportive environment. The bottom line is the internet is powerful and it can easily be used to seek recovery, or to revert in the other direction." --Mary
Mary's quote shows that there are always two sides to the helpful vs. hurtful argument for social media.
