Meet the Team: Any Lawton
Meet our Lead Android Engineer, Andy! Here is a bit more about him:
1. Do you have any strange phobias?
Clowns. I watched this awful 80's movie "Killer Klowns From Outer Space" as a child and I've been freaked out by them ever since.
2. If I weren't a [insert your job function here], I would be a [dolphin trainer, comedian, garbage man, etc.]
Android Developer, I would be a chef or JV lacrosse coach.
3. What, or who, are you a “closet” fan of?
Emo music. I still listen to Dashboard Confessional's Unplugged album. Not ashamed.
4. If you could witness any event in the past, what would it be?
Any of the Redskins' Super Bowl wins. I've been told they used to be good. Or the Bullets '78 championship.
5. If you were reincarnated as a drink what would it be and why?
I would be a bottle of Ace of Spades so I could hang out with Jay-Z.
6. Weirdest thing you have ever eaten?
7. Coolest place you have ever gone?
I'm really embarrassed about the lack of cool places I've been.
8. Advice for people starting out doing your job?
You have to write a lot of crappy code in order to start writing good code. So get to writing!
9. What time of day/night are you most productive working?
At night! The best coding gets done at night. I used to operate on the code all night, sleep all day schedule, but it doesn't quite work out when your company is bigger than a few people.
10. Favorite SocialRadar memory?
When Shana broke one of those Balance Ball Chairs! Probably our DC Launch Party. The buzz was amazing and it was very surreal to see people wrapped around the block to come hang out with us.
