A death stare greeted him, along with a pushing to the side. Head held high, Caroline faced one of her most feared enemies ━ nothing she’d ever say out loud, but still. Being close to him, or even in the same room gave a weird and uncomfortable feeling. Yet the blonde didn’t give in. “What are you doing here, Kai?” Voice was cold and harsh; unlikely for the usual positive and warm Caroline. “I’m pretty sure you’re not here to dance with me.” Slowly her hand released  him out of her gripe and she gained a bit of distance. hearing a party was going to take place, kai knew immediately it was an event he wasn’t willing to miss. after returning from the prison world where nothing actually took place ever, kai engaged in the social activities the town proposed - especially aware of who would attend them. being held by the blonde vampire, kai couldn’t help the forming smirk as his eyes fell on her hand. ‘ what do you think? ‘ he answered her question with his own question, not giving much away at all. his wrist was released and his gaze darted up to hers. ‘ try me. ‘ he couldn’t say he was a bad dancer, because he actually wasn’t - but dancing was something he didn’t enjoy that much but since the comment had been made, he wasn’t going to skip it either. ‘ dance with me? ‘

‘ sure, coming! ‘ he shouted out from the living room before politely excusing himself from the room. lia and him had made a deal; both of them would dine with each others parents before actually bringing the two families together and this time, the parents coming over, were lia’s. the dinner with kai’s family hadn’t been the best - but then again he hadn’t expected it to be honestly. rushing to the kitchen, kai let loose.

reaching her, he took her hands away from the spoons and forks and whatever else she had in hand. turning her towards him, he leaned in stealing a hungry kiss. he’d had enough controlling for the afternoon whilst her family was around - now it was time for him to have it his way, even if it had to be really quickly or if it was too risky. his lips dragged across her jaw as his hands fiddled with her clothing trying to find the easiest way through the layers. he didn’t want her to get caught either, he just needed her.
