it's totally nonsensical and not rooted at all in the current or historical reality of bisexuality. i don't know when this became a talking point but it's so weird???

while we're at it, we can also get rid of the often incoherent 'bisexual is being attracted to 2 or more genders and pansexual is being attracted to all genders' take and also forever bury the frankly offensive and also just patently untrue 'pansexuality includes trans and nonbinary people and bisexuality doesn't' trope. like, huh???
