~ "needing someone (hurts a ton)" - Usually Ponyboy can muscle through a migraine, but not today. Luckily for him, his brothers are here to help.
~ "sugar, spice and everything nice" - It's Darry's 13th birthday, and Ponyboy is determined to make it extra special. Perhaps he and Soda can bake the birthday cake...
~ "against the kitchen floor" - It was a few days after Sodapopโs breakdown when Darry finally got a chance to talk to him one-on-one. He was getting the feeling that there were some things that needed to be said: he wanted to clear the air.
~ "mama, i'd like to run to you" - After Sandy doesn't return his letter, Soda just wants to be able to curl up and cry in his mama's arms like he used to. Instead, he has to make do with what he can have.
~ "all he wants to do is dance" (1) (2) - Darry's surprised when Two-Bit shows up unexpectedly at his second job. He's even more surprised by what his friend asks him after his shift. (multi chapter, dancer!darry AU)
~ "as the rock bears the weather" - Darry gets a concussion at work. Soda and Pony come to the rescue at home.
~ "sure to be a story we can tell" - Johnny discovers fanfiction, and a little secret of Pony's.
~ "it wears you out" (request!) - Soda receives a letter that changes everything. Steve gets the same, and tasks himself with a mission: protect his friend. What could go wrong? (or: Steve and Soda get drafted into the Vietnam War)
~ "christmas in july" - Summers in Tulsa can get hotโ really hot. Luckily for everyone, Soda seems to have a pretty cool solution.ย
~ "so, you wanna live forever young?" - It's Pony's first birthday after his parents' accident, and he's not expecting it to be very good. His brothers have other plans, though, and apparently, so does Johnny.
