Don’t get me wrong, it’s peaceful… But also too much time alone with my thoughts. If I flew out one of these days, you think you’d have time to meet? Not at the Continental - I’d rather not be seen or pulled into anything. I’ll stay in some random hotel. Which is a shame, because I’ve missed your hospitality.”

“Anyway, call me back when you get the chance. Bye.”

Sofia notices she has an unanswered voicemail to her, now picking up the phone as she listened.

Surprised to hear the familiar voice, she answers.

“John..glad you’re holding up. Casablanca’s bustling as always, a mix of chaos and charm. I get what you mean about freedom and solitude—it’s a fine line between peaceful and suffocating. I’d love to meet up, away from the usual spots. Let me know when you’re arriving, and I’ll arrange something low-key. Looking forward to seeing you again, John. Take care.”

Just two days later, John is arriving in the CMN airport, having informed Sofia that he's on his way. He's traveling light, with just a suitcase, and he looks a bit worn and thoughtful. But he brightens up as soon as he sees Sofia. He steps into the sunshine and greets her with a warm smile outside the baggage claim. "Hey. Nice to see you. So, what are these 'low-key' plans you mentioned?"

"John, welcome to Casablanca. It's good to see you too." She returns his smile. "Low-key plans, indeed. Let's get you settled first, then we can talk. I've arranged a quiet spot for us to grab a drink and catch up, away from prying eyes,” she starts to walk near the exit of the airport, just where her chauffeur is. “Shall we?”

He nods, and follows her into the car, nodding to the chauffeur. “Thank you, by the way. I know they keep you pretty busy around here. Can’t have been easy to find the time.”

“It’s, nothing really, though to find time for you, I did have to work my way around my daily schedule,”

Sofia smiles at him and gets into the passengers seat. Whilst John gets in the back, he’s greeted by both of her dogs, their tails wagging and their tongues dangling out of their mouths.

“They decided to give you a welcome too, huh,” Sofia smirked.

”Hey there, puppies.” John scratches them behind the ears, one hand on each. He is really glowing with happiness now.

“This is why we have two hands you know - so we can pet two dogs at once,” he jokes.

Sofia hears the bells on her dogs collars dangle along with Johns laughter in the back seat, making her scoff in both amusement and fondness.

Soon enough, they reached the Casablanca continental, Sofia already speaking to the receptionist to handle John’s bags and what-not before they tour down the corridor and eventually head into Sofia’s suite.

“My humbled abode,” she chuckled softly, before going towards the corner of the room to pour some liquor into two glasses. “We’ll camp out in here while we wait for your bags to get settled into your room,”

John takes a glass and then a seat on an armchair. He looks around at the decor. It’s resplendent with embroidered cushions, painted vases, and hanging lamps that make the air seem to sparkle and glow. “You’ve done pretty well for yourself.”

His eyes linger on Sofia as she stands by the window, a line of golden light outlining her profile. “Sofia…” he struggles to begin for a moment. “How do you deal with the things we’ve lost to this life? Time. People. The chance to be normal. Do you…stay distracted?”

Sofia takes a sip of her alcohol, setting the glass down as she leans against the wall by the window, looking over her home. She focused into John’s eyes and took another sip of her drink.

“I mean, the dogs are doing a great job,” she joked, wiping off some remaining liquid on her lips with the back of her wrist.

“There’s this place I always go to, somewhere where I don’t have to have my head so crowded with my thoughts,” she added, glancing over to a clock that hung against the wall.

“It’s the ‘low-key place’ I mentioned earlier,” she mumbled, fixing her hair slightly. “whatever, I’ll just take you now, regardless if they’re done settling your things into your room or not,”

Sofia sighed, a bit impatient. She didn’t show it, but deep down this ‘place’ she mentioned was very sacred for her — and for John to be invited? He earned her respect. She tried to show little to no vulnerability, already regretting how eager she was to take john out of the continental.

The High Table is Gone.

Thank you everyone for your cooperation through this war, we’ve lost those we loved in combat but we must stay thankful for the others that have survived, fighting for us. And a special thanks to @askjohnwick and @shimazu-akira , I’ve grown closer to you guys after this battle.

My daughter is safe and the adjudicator has turned to our side, we are no longer against each other and can rebuild our continental that was once a haven.

To the Casablanca Continental, I am appointing ownership to my right hand woman. Thank you for your help in managing our army when I was gone, Bushra.*

The reason for the sudden change in management is my retirement. I will be moving to the Osaka continental to finally be able to spend time with my family, my daughter and Akira, whose hard work and perseverance has led me to become closer with her, living with her personally.

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR JOHN WICK: Thank you for your work in retrieving my daughter through the Ruska Roma. I know I haven’t been the brightest person to be around but I give you my genuine appreciation and will return the favor anytime needed.

The High Table is Gone

Now that the war is over, I would like to first thank everyone who had lend a hand and stayed by our side through this time of great change. We deeply appreciated your help.

While it is a victory worth celebrating, as Mr. Wick has elaborated in his official statement, there is still a lot of work to be done.

The Osaka Continental is still under reconstruction, and I won't be returning to Osaka any time soon as I have promised to accompany Katia back to Berlin and fulfil the Blood Marker I owed her.

The High Table is Down

We won. The Adjudicator has accepted my job offer, and will be running a whole new kind of organization. One centered on righting the wrongs the High Table wrought for so many years. We'll fight only for peace, and die only for love.

Thank you to every last person who fought and died to set us free from the bondage of the High Table. In Osaka, in Berlin, in Paris, in Rome, in Casablanca, in New York, and all around the world. Thank you so much, especially to @vindegramont, @sofiaal-azwar, and @shimazu-akira. I'm proud of every one of you. Stay close to each other, and remember that we did this by trusting one another even through disagreements.

In the coming era, we'll have talks. About who the new leaders should be, how the organization should be structured, how to deal with the High Table loyalists who still live, how we can restore the Continentals... But talking isn't really my thing. I think I need to rest. Finally rest... I'm safe, don't worry. I just want to go home and cuddle Dog, and finally stop getting shot. See you in a bar or a coffee shop somewhere, on a better day.

Change of Management

The Department of Adjudication has undergone a change of management. Management thanks you for your patience during this time of upheaval, and wishes a smooth transition for all employees.

To ensure that smooth transition, I will answer to Mr. Wick as interim leader, in advance of the upcoming elections. On Mr. Wick's behalf, please withdraw from the Casablanca Continental, and kill all remaining High Table loyalists on sight.

As we are the High Table's backbone, I do not anticipate much resistance.

CASABLANCA CONTINENTAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Thank you everyone who stayed loyal and fought against the high table regardless of my presence. After bringing my daughter into sanctuary, making it back to Casablanca was done with ease, arriving there just before the High Table stood down, thanks to @askjohnwick ‘s help in turning the @jw-adjudicator .

Everyone will now be under the process of rebuilding the continental, and again, thank you for your service.

Victory is Near

As we move into the third day of revolution, we have several final hurdles to overcome.

High Table forces in NY (the same group that captured The Director not long ago) are still at large, and may move against the Continental.

We need to take Sofia’s daughter somewhere else.

Casablanca is still under siege by The Adjudicator.

This will likely not stop until the The Adjudicator is dead or on our side.

Therefore: I need a status update. @vindegramont, where are you and your forces? Focus, please, on either Casablanca or New York.

@sofiaal-azwar, let us know how things are going for your troops

@shimazu-akira, since you have firsthand knowledge about what’s going on in NY, can you and Winston work to resolve that crisis?

As for myself, I’m currently on a plane with Katia and Sofia that’s now bound for Osaka, to get the kid to safety. After that, I’ll be fighting alongside you in Casablanca or NY, whichever is going worse.

As for my troops in Casablanca…they’re holding up but due to my lack of presence my men are left confused in guidance, though I do not blame them.

We need to get my daughter quickly and safely, then I’ll head back to Casablanca.

@askjohnwick I still don't believe Katia has betrayed us, has betrayed me.

I never knew her to be that kind of person. Even if she was, going against a Blood Marker is the worst kind of offense you could do in this world and in this life. That's why I asked her to help Ms. Al-Azwar in the first place.

She may have been my friend, but you knew Katia longer than I do. Do you know what's going on with her? What did the Adjudicator do to her that made her change sides? And why in the world would she reveal the location of Ms. Al-Azwar's daughter?

No, this is not like her. We grew up like siblings under Pyotr. We had our share of fights, but she was the one person I could almost trust, because at the very least, she didn't go back on her word.

I've just received a piece of information from New York that may be relevant. Winston tells me that The Director is missing. She has not been seen since last night. And she might be the only person Katia cares about as much as she cared about Pyotr. If The Adjudicator has her hostage...that would explain a lot.

Damn it. It looks like we have two problems.

I was tempted to go back to NY for The Director, but you’re what really matters to me. The few people I’ve come to know over the years who have treated me well. I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to be a family. I’m not great with words, so I can’t really define that feeling, but I know I’ve found that with you.

*We’ve been fighting our way through the city for hours. I’m really struggling to move, and being half carried by Sofia a lot of the time, but I’m doing my best. At last, we’ve reached the ballet studio.*

Don’t worry about me John, take care of yourself. We can’t lose a member of our team.

Sofia rushes through the Ballet studio, nodding to John before she closes the doors behind her, ensuring no one can get in or out.

Sofia wipes the floors clean off of some of the Ruska Roma’s blood, screaming erupting throughout the various ballerinas. Her dogs continue to tackle down any remaining guards.

Sofia continued searching, eventually getting a hold of her daughter before she clung onto the young girl in her arms, sighing in relief, kissing her forehead.

“Momma’s here baby, don’t worry I’ll get you out of here.”

John is laying on the hard sidewalk outside the studio, leaning against the wall of the building. He can't even sit up at this point but is holding guns in both hands and firing from the ground. Despite his exhaustion, he's taking out a lot of attackers.

Katia stands over him, keeping melee attackers from getting too close and blocking bullets with her body, thanks to a black leather bulletproof suit.

Sofia continues to guide she and her daughter through the studio filled with the dead bodies of some of the guards, her dogs following closely behind as the ballerinas continue to hide out within the theatre.

She opens the door, her dogs rushing infront of her to make a clear path for both Sofia and her daughter.

“John, you alright?” She asks, holding her daughter in one arms as she urges John to get up, kicking him lightly as she uses her other hand to shoot down some more men, helping Katia out.

“Reveal my daughter again and these men won’t be the only ones I’m shooting.” She whispered to her, with an undertone of irritation. Of course, she took that Katia was forced to reveal Sofia’s daughters location because the adjudicator was taking the director hostage, but it still didn’t budge through the mothers fury and protection of her family.

He sighs with relief when he sees Sofia. "Yeah. Let's go."

Knowing that they're close to finishing the task, John gets a second wind. He manages to stand up. Katia's looking at Sofia with genuine remorse, and saying something to her about how it won't happen again. She ushers them into her vehicle, an armored car, to take them back across the city to the airport.

What follows is an intense chase to the airport. They fire out the windows while Sofia's daughter stays low to the ground in the backseat. John smiles down at her, not letting any concern show on his face. "Don't worry, kid. We'll make it through this."

Sofias daughter sits low on the backseat guarded by her dogs, whilst she manages to fire out the windows with John as Katia drives them to the nearest airport.

She watches the exchange between her daughter and John, her young one shielded with a blanket. Hesitant at first, she observed them, but she’s grown to trust John, after all he’s done.

She hasn’t let anyone even look at her daughter, but with John, over time, she has realized that he was more than just an assassin. She smiles to her daughter, trying to distract her from the various gunshots.
