((I haven't decided yet if Sofiel is going to dress up for Halloween. Oh well, there's still time to think or bug Mikey-mun about it.))
sofielwrites replied to your post: “Note to self— next Flood, refuse to let them…
Sofiel doesn’t sign anything, just pouts at Michael.
He notices her pout and he desperately tries not to cave to it. He’s an archangel; he’s fought demons and monsters and dozens of extremely powerful beings and he was not going to let Sofiel—
“Fine,” he said with a sigh. “They can jump on the next Ark.”
She didn't seem to mind the sigh and instead claps her hands happily before hugging his legs tightly.
He looked vaguely alarmed at seeing a puppy— was Sofiel even capable of caring for an animal? She was still a child!
"He’s lovely," he replied, smiling at the puppy. He was a pretty cute puppy, even Michael couldn’t deny it.
(He did go rigid at the mention of his Father, though.)
"You’ve spoken to God?" he asked slowly, trying not to visibly panic.
The puppy barked then wagged his tail as Michael eyed him. Sofiel, however, looked down the instant she caught her father's reaction. Was he upset? She hadn't meant to upset him!
'She suggested him and said that I was lovely,' she answered.
God nodded at that. “Yes that is probably best. Don’t want your daddy mad he didn’t get to meet Cocoa right away right? I’m glad he’s going to such a lovely little girl. I might be a bit worried otherwise.”
'Right! Daddy will be happier and I think they should know each other as soon as possible.' Sofiel smiled gratefully. 'Thank you very much. That is very kind of you.'
She smiled and nodded. “It’s not a problem dear. Now, I take it you don’t really have many of the things you need to take care of little Cocoa do you? Because I can most definitely give you all the supplies you’ll need but you may have some issues carrying them is all.”
She shook her head. "That is right." She paused signing for a moment, thinking. "Should I get the wagon I carry my toys in when I take them with me to the park?" That might be too small, but it was an idea.
Sofiel tugs on Michael’s sleeve excitedly. ‘Daddy? I want to show you something!’
He bent down to her height, arching a brow and smiling at her excitement.
”—What is it you wish to show me, Sofiel?”
She dashed back and behind a table before carrying over a yorkie puppy with a bow on it's collar. Since she's using both hands to carry this puppy, she prays enthusiastically, 'This is Cocoa, Daddy! God gave him to me!'

"Ah! That is too cute! I love that!" he yells excitedly. His childish nature clearly shining in his face.
'I know, right?' Sofiel replied, bright eyed and smiling widely.

"That’s a great idea! The park is one of my favorite places to draw. Some many interesting humans that gather there."
Sofiel grinned. ‘There are people and pets, and sometimes even wild ducks. And if we want a break, we can go on the swings!’
"I love ducks! they’re so silly looking. And when they eat bread and their beaks do the thing." he says attempting to show her the duckbill thing with his hands.
'And the thing they do to get food underwater,' she adds. Dabbling looks pretty funny to her, especially when the tail started wagging especially quickly.
She smiled and gently patted the girls head. “Well then i’m certain we can get this all figured out. You should take little Cocoa home and show them around before you start training though. Just drop by any time if you want some help. I’m almost always here. And if I’m not Tempa usually is. He’s a great help too.”
Sofiel lightly scratched behind one of Cocoa's ears. 'Okay, I will remember that. Cocoa should meet Daddy first, too, right?'

God thought for a moment and nodded. “That should be possible. It’ll take some extra work though.” She smiled and patted the dog gently. It wouldn’t be too hard she supposed. She could always set up a mind link between them but that could get complicated. “I’m sure you’ll be able to work through it though.”
'Extra work is okay,' Sofiel assured God, nodding. She had plenty of extra time and energy, so more effort wouldn't cut into anything else too much. Besides, it'd be worth it in the end.

He claps his hands together with a grin. “Ah! I am glad you enjoy them. I saw them and thought they would make a nice gift for you. You can never have too many art supplies, am I right?”
She nods cheerfully. ‘There is so many colors and extra paper is always excellent!’
"What do you say to spending the day doing some art work together? Sound like fun?"
'It does! Want to go to the park and draw there?'
God smiled at the name and raised an eyebrow at the puppy who wagged it’s tail and yapped. “I think that’s a yes for Cocoa. It’s a cute name. If you need some help with training little Cocoa here feel free to bring ‘em by any time ok?”
'Yes! Thank you.' Sofiel smiled and gave a small bow, her way of accentuating thanking someone. Almost immediately, though, she has a question, 'Would teaching him to sit when I make the sign for it work?' Verbal commands weren't possible, so she wanted to make sure nonverbal ones would work.
She laughed softly and gently patted Sofiels hair. “It didn’t so much take practice as I just decide I wanna go somewhere and no one ever expects it.” She watched Sofiels mind slowly get a little sad and so she steered them back to a happier topic. “So, do you have a name for this lil pup?”
The question successfully changed Sofiel's train of thought. How were names picked? She'd forgotten to ask earlier. Looking down at the puppy, which stares back at her, she thought for a moment before answering, 'Do you like the name Cocoa?'
God smiled as the girl worked things out. She knew that hint would put her on the right path. She nodded and laughed softly. “I suppose you never thought you were going to meet me did you?”
'Never at all,' Sofiel admitted and shook her head a little. 'You and his work are really important to Daddy, though.'
"I have a tendency to pop up where no one expects me to." She shrugged and smiled at Sofiel. "Shouldn’t you be important to him to?"
'Did it take practice?' Appearing in unexpected places seemed like a pretty neat skill. She nodded, smiling, in response to the question. 'I am sure I am!'
He did have to work quite often, though, and sometimes when he was off working, she got lonely. Getting lonely usually lead to looking around for someone to visit with... and that made him worry when he return.
