24.05.2021 // i love visiting my parents because my mom always makes some wonderful cakes. eating, drinking coffee and reading are the most important things in this family. this explains why i read so many books at home. i usually finish a book every two days which is really good for me. and this is the only reason why i still can keep up with my storygraph reading challenge.

today, i was quite productive: i worked out, wrote an essay of 1700 words, sent two emails which i’ve been procrastinating, and made a birthday card for my dad! i still want to finish an essay of 400 words before tonight. and that wraps up my to-do list for today!

Dear college students...

After the first two weeks or so, don’t drop a course without talking to the professor of that course. And this goes double if you’re already earning a passing grade. I know: stuff comes up, life happens. But also, that’s a lot of academic work to write off, without talking to the relevant person about how you’re managing that academic work, and how they can help you with it.

This status indirectly brought to you by the student who was earning a solid B and dropped the course without warning. And that’s a lot of their work and mine just… down the drain.
