Each RED member got ready for battle. Jake the Scout jogged in place to warm up, Hein the Medic was charging an ubercharge, Connor the Engineer was loading up his frontier justice..

And then there was the only woman of the group, Ruby the Psychologist.

Ruby was the fresh meat before Pilot came along. Being a brand new class brought along to support her teammates, she was still adjusting to her role: to boost RED morale and pick apart weaknesses in BLU in order to use it against them. All she had on her was a shotgun, Mann Co. sponsored peoper spray, and a metal flyswatter. Her weapons looked very juvenile, but they got her job done.

This was Pilot’s first mission, so Ruby figured he’d need the emotional support to get through it.

“Hey there newbie,” Ruby tapped on Pilot’s shoulder and spoke in a soft, calm voice.

Pilot turned around at Pyschologist while he holds his revolver. “Hm? Yes?”

Ruby had been attending to her wounded face. Now with no glasses, she couldn’t decipher who that voice was. Not that she could recognize it anyway.

“There are better ways to stand up for yourself, mi amor..Please, please let me help you. You dont have to lash out!” Ruby kept knocking.

“GO AWAY!!”

“I love you James. I love you so so much! Please let me in?..” Ruby was beginning to sound desperate as she began crying.

Ruby knocks on the door. “Boxy?.. Please open up? What happened?!”

“Go away!”

“There are better ways to stand up for yourself, mi amor..Please, please let me help you. You dont have to lash out!” Ruby kept knocking.

“I dont care if I’m RED! I don’t care how many times you hit me,” Ruby still had her hand over the eye that Box hit her in, “Pl-please..let me help you! Please!! This spirit whatever it is!! That can’t be you! You’re a sweetie!!” Ruby grabs onto Box’s hand. || @Soft-REDTeam // Ruby

“Let go…”
