do dan and phil tweet off of each other’s accounts?
Ever wonder why sometimes Dan and Phil are able to reply to multiple tweets only a few seconds after replying to the previous tweet?
(This theory is that they both reply and tweet off of each other’s accounts from time to time.Â
I’ve wanted to write this out for such a long time, but I never really had the time or motivation.)
We all are aware that Dan and Phil most definitely have each other’s passwords for everything.Â
Take for example when for the entire Pokemon Go video filmed in Hong Kong, Dan uses Phil’s phone to film the entire video, while he plays Pokemon Go on his own phone.Â

Another example of this is in one of Dan’s more recent liveshows (2:19) where he does the liveshow on his own laptop, but has Phil’s laptop to the side with him.Â
(We know that’s Phil’s laptop next to him because the liveshow is being done on his own laptop)
Personally, I think the main reason they do this is so that they can answer more replies in a shorter amount of time. If they’re both logged onto either account, they both can reply to 2-4 people, giving a total of 4-8 replies, if any at all.Â
But I’m sure that they often just do it because they can.Â
“But that doesn’t mean this has happened recently…”
You’re right, it doesn’t; but, it means that this is definitely a possibility.Â
“Do we have any proof that it could have happened recently?”
Yes and no.
You can take any example I give you and be able to say “that doesn’t mean anything!!” and so there’s no real point in listing a bunch.Â
But, here’s a few possibilities:

Notice anything? Dan capitalized the first letter in the first tweet, but not in the second. If you look at any video tweets Dan makes, he always keeps everything lowercase.Â
“Does that mean Phil posted the first one?”
Possibly.
Of course, there’s other possibilities as to what happened and why it is uppercased, so we really can’t say for sure.
“But almost all of Dan’s replies are lowercased??”
All that means is that Phil is a lot better at paying attention while typing than Dan is.Â
Assuming Phil has the “uppercase the first word in every sentence” option turned on, these tweets should have all been uppercased!! :
In addition to them not being uppercased, they do look significantly different from the other tweets posted.Â
The ones lowercased also contain no other signs of punctuation other than the ?? in the first tweet. In my opinion, the lowercased tweets look far more like ones tweeted by Dan rather than Phil.Â
“But what’s the real significance if they do tweet off of each other’s accounts?”
There is none, other than the fact that I just find it really cute that they enjoy doing it or do it to help each other.Â
They clearly have so much trust in each other and I think it’s really nice :)
