actually, in general… not everyone has a singular purpose in life. not everyone finds their purpose as a teenager, and not everyone has purpose at all.

sometimes you find your purpose in a job, in a hobby, in a relationship, or in a mix of all of those things, and none of those are any more worthy than each other. my purpose is not better or worse than your purpose, they’re just different, and that’s fine

don’t feel disheartened if you don’t have your purpose figured out. it’s okay if you find your purpose in a broad range of places and people. you can live a great life without ever having a grand or overarching “reason for existing”

I haven’t drawn myself in a while, but this one felt too personal not to. I think society has a big emphasis on “fixing” yourself, which makes sense in the way of therapy or growing as a person. However, sometimes you don’t need fixing because you’re not actually broken. I thought I needed to be more resilient to stress and anxiety, but I actually needed to be kinder to myself, by putting less pressure on myself and working less.

It’s still a work in progress for me, but I hope it can be a little helpful to you all! ♡
