Hi^^ I'm a big fan of your work (by big fan i mean obsessed. I keep recomending your fics to anyone who'll listen, online and irl) and I have been thinking about potentially translating fics to Polish. And I'd love to translate one of your fics if that is okay with you. I've never done so before so idk how one goes about doing this sort of "collaboration" on ao3, so I thought I'd ask you directly. Would you be interested in something like that?

so harry becomes a hermit after the war and ends up on his own magical island where he lives in a defunct lighthouse. there's a lot of fog. blankets everywhere. light metaphors. draco comes to the island to study magical evolution in isolated places, he doesn't know harry is there, but then guess what?? they fall in love.

hello friend thank you for sending this many moons ago, i was so gripped by the idea that i promptly spent two years pouring myself into it and now it has briefly raised me from ao3 death. here is an atmospheric t4t lighthouse story that's really about how sometimes you can be alone without being lonely but it takes time and the salt wind and acts of thoughtfulness and so many cozy knit sweaters

Draco’s happy with his quiet, lonely life in Woolbury, spending his days working at Pen Pals and keeping his already tidy flat spotless. But when Harry Potter shows up with pink hair and secrets about his magic, Draco’s carefully upheld balance falls apart. there is a genocide happening in palestine. this genocide is being perpetrated by the illegitimate, colonial, fascist state of israel, and aided by every single major western power.

as someone born in the war in bosnia, i want to make one thing clear: every time that the world has let something like this happen over the past 70 odd years, it's allowed it to happen to muslims. bosnia, rohingyas, uygurs, palestinians, countless others. there is empathy in all places as long as they aren't muslim.

i urge you to examine your immediate reactions to a woman in a hijab or the words allahu akbar. i urge you to examine what narratives you've been exposed to even inadvertently.

i promise you muslims are just regular people. our families fight and rejoice and cry in the same ways as yours. we can grow up to be bad or good just like you can. if they kill all of us we won't get the chance to rewrite the story that's been written for us, against us, in our place. please don't let them keep killing us.

fandom is political. love is political. don't underestimate what being open and explicit can do.

long answer: my chronic illnesses have gotten so bad and i am so sad all the time and i barely have the energy to do necessary things let alone things For Fun. and the drarry fandom feels like it moves very fast so everything about being in it (and writing in general) felt like an obligation rather than something fun so. that’s pretty much it :< you can follow my main blog @celestialbee if you want to see pictures and art that i like but that’s really all ive got right now
