Toughwald and Toughtensia!!!!!

[asdfghjhgfds i’ve been neglecting this blog so much. i still have 2 questions i haven’t drawn for yet. i’m so sorry. i’m gonna be heading to a convention this weekend, so i’ll try to get back on here proper after that. however, i wanted to finally draw something suggested to me by an anon a long time ago.]

[they’re basically tougher, harder counterparts to Softwald and Softensia. they have tough, toned bodies with rigid edges. they talk in a loud, somewhat stilted manner, similar to a character in a sub-par dub of an anime or kung-fu movie. although they appear intimidating, they have hearts of gold, valuing justice, confidence, perseverance, and inner-strength. they’re experts in mixed martial arts and follow a strict training regimen. despite their contrasting personalities, they are also quite good friends with the softies, acting as sort of the “yang” to their “yin.”]

*Oswald finds a young orange-haired woman on the ground outside the spa, as she is badly hurt and is unconscious.

Oswald walks over to the woman with a concerned expression, gently nudging her.

🐰 “Um…H-hello?…C-can you hear me?…P-please…wake up…”

Oswald goes to get Ortensia, and they both carefully carry the woman into the house and onto their couch.

*Phoenix looked down and chuckled as she helped Ortensia up.

“This is my sister, MockingJay. She’s come back from a long journey.”

*MockingJay smiled softly towards Ortensia: “A cat and rabbit together? What an adorable pair~”

Ortensia blushes and chuckles, as she holds onto Oswald’s hand, and Oswald smiles back at his wife.

🐱 “Ah, it’s nice to meet you, MockingJay~ Can I get you anything, dear?”

Oswald took the bunny’s hand and lifted her up off the ground.

She pauses and observes the scene with a blank, confused look on her face.

She then giggles awkwardly.

Oswald tilted his head, looking a bit intimidated.

Pheonix: “MockingJay…w-what happened to you?”

MJ: “What, all of this? Just a bit of experimentation. Nothing too serious…though, it would’ve been helpful if you were there.” *She glared with her violet eyes.

*MJ looked over at the bunny, as she gave a slight grin towards him.

“Oh? I didn’t know you had company with you…who’s this?”

Phoenix: “This is Oswald; he’s a friend of mine who helped me recover after a rough incident.”

*MJ seemed intrigued by this, as she came up to him and looked down at him.

Oswald was trembling, but still put on a friendly smile.

“Goodness! You’re quite the nervous one, aren’t you?” *She said as she rubbed his head, which despite her dark and slimy appearance, felt quite calm and pleasant to the rabbit.

Phoenix: “I’m glad you’re okay…though, shall we go inside to talk about what happened?”

*MJ smiled at her sister and nodded: “Don’t be so worried, both of you. I may look sinister, but I assure you; my heart is white as snow.”

Oswald whispered entrancedly, with a dizzy expression on his face.

*Oswald finds a young orange-haired woman on the ground outside the spa, as she is badly hurt and is unconscious.

Oswald walks over to the woman with a concerned expression, gently nudging her.

🐰 “Um…H-hello?…C-can you hear me?…P-please…wake up…”

Oswald goes to get Ortensia, and they both carefully carry the woman into the house and onto their couch.

“I’m fine…you’ve just been a dear friend to me, and I’m grateful…” *She said as she let him go.

*The figure in the distance walked closer to them.

🐰 “Hey, Phoe…Who’s that?”

*Phoenix looked behind her and saw the figure as she let Oswald go.

“…No…i-it can’t…” *She said as she looked like she had seen a ghost.

*The figure approached, as she was dark and had a purple trail of ooze emitting from her.

“Hello…sister…”

Oswald tilted his head, looking a bit intimidated.

🐰 “Um…Ph-Phoe? I…didn’t know you had a…sister.”

*Phoenix got in front of Oswald, almost as if she had forgotten he was there as she looked at the other.

Pheonix: “MockingJay…w-what happened to you?”

MJ: “What, all of this? Just a bit of experimentation. Nothing too serious…though, it would’ve been helpful if you were there.” *She glared with her violet eyes.

🐰 “Phoe…Wh-what is she taking about?”

*MJ looked over at the bunny, as she gave a slight grin towards him.

“Oh? I didn’t know you had company with you…who’s this?”

Phoenix: “This is Oswald; he’s a friend of mine who helped me recover after a rough incident.”

*MJ seemed intrigued by this, as she came up to him and looked down at him.

Oswald was trembling, but still put on a friendly smile.

🐰 “Oh…he-hello…N-nice to meet…you…”

*MJ looked at him, before laughing.

“Goodness! You’re quite the nervous one, aren’t you?” *She said as she rubbed his head, which despite her dark and slimy appearance, felt quite calm and pleasant to the rabbit.

Phoenix: “I’m glad you’re okay…though, shall we go inside to talk about what happened?”

*MJ smiled at her sister and nodded: “Don’t be so worried, both of you. I may look sinister, but I assure you; my heart is white as snow.”

Oswald quietly sighed in relief, and smiled bashfully.

🐰 “Ehe...Sorry I was so skittish...Anyway, would you like to come inside?”

Oswald, still somewhat floating, pulls himself over to Coin like a magnet, nearly knocking him over when he wraps his arms around him.

Suddenly, Ortensia enters the room.

🐱 “Boys? Is everything okay in he–”

She pauses and observes the scene with a blank, confused look on her face.

She then giggles awkwardly.

🐱 “Am…I, uh…interrupting something?”

Oswald softly fluttered his fluffy ears around Coin.

“Ah hello there!” The strange green mouse walked up to the rabbit “You must be softwald! I’ve heard about your strange land and decided I might visit it, its quite peaceful here, reminds me of home but with more people around than just my gang” He smiled. [AH Thank You!!]

🐰 “Oh, hello~ It’s nice to meet you~ You look quite a bit like my brother…Oh–Forgive me if that sounds kind of odd, ehe~”
