this song that I’m listening to fits killer so much with the fact that while killer was working with nightmare he has most likely visited alternative versions of himself.

I like to imagine that a good ending version of killer had killed color on accident from a stage 4 incident and a bad ending version of killer was tasked to kill him, or the bad ending killer was bored and felt like antagonizing him for what he did reminding him about his actions.
